We ordered My Market from Uber Eats one night, it was the only place we could find that would deliver this far out (about 6 miles south of the southtown Walmart). It was late, we were hungry, so we figured why not? We got the jalapeño poppers with cream cheese, mozzarella sticks, 5 pc. Fried chicken, cheeseburger (one supreme, one regular), and the chicken strips. Everything was good, but most of it did have some spice to it. Just be aware of this if anyone is sensitive to spicy food. First, the food arrived HOT! This is awesome. If you've ever ordered delivery you know that most times it arrives warm. The best thing, hands down, was the fried chicken. It was delicious, everyone in the family agreed! The reason I took a star off, we did not get the small drinks that were supposed to be included in the meals. This place is a little secret it's a hidden gem. Ok check this out. This is a gas station where you pump gas, that good marathon top tier stuff with the added STP and all of that jazz. Ok they got everything a gas station would have, the must have essentials. Cigarettes, blunts , papers, candy bars, soda pop, phone chargers, all kinds of stuff up in here. Ok I forgot to tell you they have a restaurant inside and guess what they deliver! And they will even deliver you everything else they sell in the gas station part of it! This authentic soul food restaurant is inside the gas station , pre order and pay at the gas station clerk desk and he prints you off your order and you paid. Go over and wait a hottie for your food, but Maaaaaaane it's so good, them wings be falling off the bones, everything is in sink here! Food is fire Maaaaaaane. Old school black cultured authentic soul food done up right in here Mane. They got gas, washer fluid, and hot sweet potato pie. Nobody be talking about this place because it's for members only it seems like. I can't give them my business anymore! If I pay my honest money and get home and realize I was not given what I purchased and immediately call to report my order was not complete as a consumer that's my right! Then I'm told they will replace my meal and to come in and just give them my name! Then when I do I'm accused of B. S.! As if I need to go out my way for free food. I had to debate them on what they told me when I called to complain I was missing food. I took there word and they played me like "you did not talk to me!" Well who did I??? I should write the name down of the person I spoke too but I felt they would honor there word so my fault! I will never go back and patronize there business again. I can only control what I can but as a honest paying consumer I deserved better and will do what I can within my power! The dollars we spend is the power not the food or service the offer! read more
