Three of my kids attended My Little Learning Tree, and every one of them absolutely loved their time there and all of the wonderful teachers! MLLT does an incredible job preparing children for elementary school. In fact, even my kids' kindergarten teacher commented on how well-prepared students from MLLT are when they enter kindergarten. I couldn't be happier knowing my kids learned and grew in such a safe, nurturing, and caring environment. The teachers truly care about the children and create a place where they feel comfortable, supported, and excited to learn. If you're looking for a preschool, My Little Learning Tree should definitely be at the top of your list. I highly recommend it! read more

My Little Learning Tree is an absolute gem -- and we are so grateful our family found it. Both of my daughters attended My Little Learning Tree, and I can say without hesitation that it was one of the best decisions we made for them. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel the warmth and intentionality that defines everything this school does. What sets My Little Learning Tree apart is how genuinely they ignite a love of learning in every child. They don't just teach -- they inspire curiosity. Both of my girls left this school not just ready for elementary school, but excited for it. The confidence, the wonder, the hunger to keep exploring -- that comes directly from the foundation this incredible team helped build. The classroom activities are creative and thoughtful, always designed with purpose. The field trips are highlights that my daughters still talk about. And the parent events made us feel like true partners in our children's education, not just bystanders. This school understands that raising curious, capable kids is a community effort -- and they live that every single day. The teachers and staff are warm, passionate, and deeply invested in every child as an individual. You can feel the love they have for this work, and kids feel it too. If you are looking for a preschool in San Francisco that will lay an extraordinary foundation for your child -- academically, socially, and emotionally -- look no further. My Little Learning Tree is the real deal. Our family is forever grateful. read more

I wanted to come back and update my review now that my second son has also gone through My Little Learning Tree and is now in Kindergarten. His transition to elementary school was incredibly smooth, and I truly credit MLLT for preparing him so well, not just academically, but emotionally and in every way that matters. One of the things that stands out even more now, looking back, is the sense of community. During our time at MLLT, our family built such meaningful and lasting relationships, both for our kids and for us as parents. Those connections have continued well beyond our time at the school, which says so much about the kind of environment they've created. We feel very lucky to have been part of the MLLT community, and I'm even more grateful now having seen both of my children benefit from it in such a lasting way. read more

Finding a preschool is tough during COVID times without in-person tours. I wanted to give a glowing recommendation of My Little Learning Tree (MLLT). Highlights include 1. Conversation and Social skills for kids - in just half a year there, my son has gotten so much more expressive in language and able to identify his emotions. He is learning to navigate group dynamics and interactions with other kids. 2. Thoughtful COVID protocol - the director Corinna has been extremely cautious and we feel safe about sending our son there. You are only as good as your community and I feel confident that she understands all the risks at play. 3. Warmth of teachers - I toured five preschools in person pre-pandemic and what I looked most for is warmth of teachers and happiness of kids. Even though my son has the occasional age-appropriate tough drop offs, he always comes home happy with his day and loves his interactions with his teachers. 4. Great community - we just had a play date with the class together today and it reiterated what an amazing group of parents are at the school. As a bonus, food is included and he has already learned to spell his name and has amazing art projects including a book about planets and snow globe. We receive thoughtful updates, videos and photos at the end of each day. read more

There are not many other entities that we can recommend so highly as My Little Learning Tree. It had been such an integral part of our lives for the year and half that the graduation of kid from there earlier this summer was very bittersweet. The place was highly recommended to us by both our neighbors, whose kids attended this preschool. We could not get a spot in the first year (Apple Tree), but were ecstatic when we received that call from teacher Corinna, in year2 (Peach Tree). Our kid felt very welcomed by both - the teachers and other kids - since day one. Popo went out of her way for the next year and a half to make sure our child had a vegetarian meal+snacks every day. During these months the kids got a taste of not only regular educational and fun activities, but also various sports, music, dance and yoga. As seen elsewhere, we had always heard great things about teacher Chiori (year3, Cherry Tree), and it was still unreal to experience how wonderful she was. She prepared the kids so well that the first few critical months of the kindergarten have been a very easy ride for our child - both for curricular and emotional (behavioral) learning. She is extremely kind, thoughtful, respectful and inclusive. The pandemic put so much stress and new responsibilities on everyone, and the optimism with which MLLT has continued to function so well has been absolutely amazing. It is for very special reviews like these that I so wish Yelp had a way to add a star for 'extra-ordinary'! read more

We could not be happier with our experience at My Little Learning Tree. My two children were extremely prepared for Kindergarten and easily transitioned into independent/public schools in San Francisco. Seeing our kids' growth and independence increase over the years has been amazing. We love the warm and nurturing environment cultivated by the teachers and staff. Meals, snacks and enrichment programs are all provided for in tuition. My picky eater finally eats! The teachers go above and beyond with communicating updates on your child. We have always gotten photo updates during the day or at the end of day which include what projects or themes they are currently studying. During the pandemic, we were a bit apprehensive about sending a young child to school, but the school has done an amazing job at keeping the kids safe and keeping each group of children separate from one another. The kids only play with their pods and toys and shared spaces are sanitized after each use. We love MLLT! read more

It's only been a few weeks since we graduated from My Little Learning Tree, but we miss the school and the teachers so much! Our little one had a wonderful time in the Cherry Tree class. We had tried to get into the school for year one (Apple), but they sadly had no openings at the time. We're happy we managed to squeeze in for the Cherry year at least! (Go Teacher Chiori!) What we've felt is special is the community that Corinna, the teachers and PoPo have built with the families and children. Teacher Chiori has been a great influence on our little guy, really helping to build social-emotional skills and confidence. Through the craziness with COVID, Corinna and the staff have been nothing but supportive during what is also a trying time for them. It was clear that Corinna and Chiori were constantly thinking about how they can continue to help the children learn and stay safe. Corinna has been thoughtful and proactive about implementing measures to keep everyone safe and healthy. Even though we chose to continue virtually for personal reasons, Corinna and Chiori worked hard to make sure we were still supported with video calls and activities, and regularly checked in with us. Every child and family is different, so there is a school & philosophy that's right for you! MLLT had the right mix of play, focus on social-emotional development and learning for us, and along with the community feel, was a great experience for us. read more

Love this little community! The teachers are the kindest, most loving, caring, and patient educators. Both my girls went there and are now doing amazing in elementary school. MLLT's curriculum and learning environment didn't just prepare them for academic success, but also social and emotional well being. In addition, they serve organic food and assist with potty training. There are plenty of field trips and celebrations, too. I absolutely adore this little school and highly recommend it! read more

I can't say enough about our daughter's two years at MLLT. The curriculum offered an opportunity to be creative and enjoy learning. They promote the values of respect, courteous, and caring. With no hesitation, I would recommend MLLT to any parent looking for a Quality Pre-School that will better their child. On your last day at MLLT, you'll be sad that it's time to move on, but, you'll smile knowing you made the right decision for your child. read more

MLLT has completely exceeded my expectations in a preschool. The staff is extremely thoughtful, warm and accommodating and have become life long friends with our entire family. After 2 years with MLLT our LO entered kindergarten confident, eager to learn, and super sociable. I couldn't be happier with our LO's progress. Thank you MLLT for all of the effort, hard work, and care that you have provided our LO. We could not be happier with our LO's growth! read more

Thank you again for taking care of our daughter. She has learn to socialize, write, potty train, sing, dance, and create at your preschool. Your constant caring and observation of her needs has made your place a safe haven and fun place for her. We appreciate all the field trips, parties, and special gifts you have shared. We have almost all her projects up at our home. Our house looks a little bit like an Art Exhibition. Thank for also taking the time to text when there have been issues. That just made us feel more assured your place was the right place for her. If we could give more than a 5 star review we would. read more

MLLT is a fantastic neighborhood school that is sorely lacking in SF. Corinna, the owner/director of the school, is very dedicated and knows each of her students very well. She tells each parent how the student's day went during pick-up on a daily basis. Our son is three and has blossomed socially since attending there. His teacher Ashley is great with kids and brings a lot of energy to the classroom each day. Corinna has added some great programs to the curriculum recently. The kids are taking baseball lessons in the nearby playground twice a week. There is an upcoming international food week where each family brings a dish that they eat at home to share with their friends. Corinna hosts parties at school regularly and it's a great way for us to meet other parents and to watch our son interact with his friends. All in all, MLLT works hard to make learning fun for kids in a very safe environment. We feel very fortunate to have found the school and our son looks forward to school every morning. That's the proof in the pudding! read more

I am incredibly impressed by the quality and creativity of the programs - there is structured learning, lots of free playtime, and extra-curricular activities like soccer and baseball. My boys come home all the time wanting to do dance party USA to show off their new dance moves! We had the options of going to other preschools closer to my work, however liked MLLT given the diverse parent community too. My husband and I feel so fortunate to have found MLLT and want to thank Corinna, PoPo, Courtney, Allie, and Icee for all their love and care to our boys! read more

Great place for a preschooler! There is a designated space for playing, learning and doing arts and crafts. It's every child's dream because there are so many age appropriate activities from puzzles to paints to books. My two boys didn't want to leave on their first visit. As a parent, I love the fact that the preschool provides healthy meals and snacks (It's one less thing you have to worry about when getting ready in the morning). But most importantly, the preschool teacher provides an open line of communication!!! read more

This place is truly something special. I stumbled upon it via google searches, went for a tour, enrolled our daughter and fell in love with not only the school but the entire community. The teachers are phenomenal as well as the owner Corinna. They lead with love and the bonds between teachers and kiddos are tangible. We had to leave after 2 full years since we moved across the country and leaving MLLT was the saddest thing to me about my entire move (TRUTHFULLY!). My daughter (now 5.5 years old) STILL talks about her teachers, friends and all of the fun things she did at MLLT. She has requested we go back to visit SF and we have to go see the school! If you get the opportunity to enroll, don't hesitate! read more

An organized preschool with a variety of original creative activities. The owner/director, Corinna, has a degree in early education and is a natural at teaching and gently navigating the activities of the day. Parents are updated daily about their childs develoment and the parent-teacher conferences have been some of the best I have experienced. read more

Words can't express how grateful I am for the staff at My Little Learning Tree. I had visited 4 other neighboring schools and am so glad that my husband and I decided to enroll our (then) 2.5 year old daughter at My Little Learning Tree. The school's philosophy is very much aligned with what we value at home. It was important for my husband and I to find a school that would foster our child's sense of self, creativity, and responsibility. The teachers all hold degrees in child development and come from a place of mindful care-taking. The all-female staff is young, enthusiastic, and energetic enough to keep up with my active child. They believe in redirection as their main form of discipline which is perfect for my little explorer. They take the time to give me daily updates on my child's behavior and development. Upon enrollment, my main wish was for my 2.5 year old daughter to learn how to socialize. She has now been at this school for about a year and is thriving socially and academically. Before reaching age 3, she could name all the days in the week, name all the months in the year, write her own name, identify world landmarks, etc. The curriculum involves a monthly theme from which teachers organize learning. For example, one month, they learned about habitats. My daughter came home singing songs about animals and their environments. She brought home art projects that revolved around habitats and was able to tell me where and how each animal lived. One day, she bundled herself up in her blanket, and told me she was "hibernating". Totally impressive for an almost-3 year old! Also included in the curriculum are enrichment programs such as dance, baseball, and soccer. My daughter is shaping up to be a well-rounded little person who loves to learn in all areas! Not only have I been impressed by how much my daughter has picked up in terms of social, academic, and athletic skills, but I've learned a thing or two myself! When I sensed the start of a behavioral problem, I asked Director Corinna Leung how I should handle the issues. Corinna promptly took action, asked my daughter's teacher for feedback, and called a meeting with my husband and myself. She gave us solid advice on how to handle different scenarios at home, and she even provided a parenting book that has been quite useful in our household. Corinna Leung is the heart of My Little Learning Tree. When I first toured the school, it was clear that she loved each one of her students. She's kind, gentle, respectful, funny, knowledgeable, and approachable. She's a great role model for my daughter to follow, learn from, and love. I'm so grateful for the education that my daughter is receiving from My Little Learning Tree. I would recommend this school to any parent looking for a trustworthy caring staff with an awesome program. read more

Choosing a preschool for your toddler isn't an easy choice but after having toured My Little Learning Tree and meeting with Corinna and her fellow teachers we knew right away we wanted our son to be a part of their program. I truly appreciate the warmth, care, organization, professionalism, and focus they put into supporting my child's growth. With a team of teachers with strong educational backgrounds, they are readily able to tailor learning plans to meet individual needs while supporting the growth of the classroom as a whole. I write this review nearly a year after my son's enrollment and I see how much he's grown with MLLT - academically, emotionally, and physically! My son really enjoys the home-cooked meals at school (ABC soup for the win!). The school has done an excellent job navigating the challenges of the pandemic by prioritizing safety and clear communication. I appreciate the open dialogue I am able to have with the teachers. Overall, we are grateful to be a part of the MLLT community! read more

Our daughter is now in a highly acclaimed kindergarten. The teachers have told us her hand is up at every question. Today, we started to discuss the human immune system, and our daughter started to explain to my husband and I ( two former Stanford pre-meds) how it worked. She learned the concepts at My Little Learning Tree. How in God's name these folks, and our daughter's former teacher, Teacher Icee, could convey this to 5 year olds is mind blowing. This is an amazing place. The emotional and intellectual nourishment blows away what I can articulate in words. As much as we appreciated MLLT when our daughter was attending there, we are now seeing the fruits of their accelerated instruction and the tremendous platform of self-confidence they instill in their students. read more

I will always be grateful to My Little Learning Tree and the wonderful teachers for giving my son such a great start to his education. Prior to attending Pre-K at MLLT, my son stayed home with me. He was always quite slow to warm up to new people and surroundings. I was so nervous to leave him, fearing he would have a hard time separating. My fears couldn't have been further from reality! He absolutely loved his school, the teachers and his friends. Teacher Corinna (school director) was so reassuring and texted updates the first week to put my mind at ease. The environment is welcoming, loving and nurturing. The children's snacks/lunches are lovingly prepared by PoPo (Teacher Corinna's mother). My son raved about PoPo's food! It has been some time now since my son graduated from MLLT and he still asks to go back and visit his teachers. He entered elementary school with confidence and an excitement for learning. Thank you, MLLT! read more

We love this school. Teacher Corinna and Popo have created an incredibly warm and fun environment. Our 5 year old daughter graduated from MLLT last year and made a easy transition to kindergarden. She was extremely well prepared by Teacher Corinna. My daughter still talks about her time there and we have to go every so often so she can say hi:) Luckily, my 2.5 year old son just started there, so MLLT is still part of our family. They have baseball, soccer, and dance class every week, as well as numerous creative projects and learning activities. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! read more

The teachers at MLLT are awesome! I really appreciate the 8 to 1 ratio that this center maintains. Because of this student to teacher ratio, my son was able to receive more individual attention. The teachers are extremely patient and always try to make learning a fun and exciting experience . My son loves the baseball program that the director has incorporated into the curriculum as well the singing, dancing and art projects. MLLT provides a safe and nurturing learning environment, and we are very glad we chose to take our son here. read more
