Where do I begin... We started researching preschools for our son when he was still a young baby…read more Given our very high expectations we could not have been more relieved when we learned about Growing Minds and had the immense privilege of meeting Mrs. Uzma Ansari! She has undoubtedly gone above and beyond dedicating herself to early childhood education for over 20 years. Her passion and compassion along with her genuine love for all the little ones is undeniable! Our son has attended the school for almost 3 years now. We feel so blessed that his first experience with formal education has been at Growing Minds. The teachers follow Mrs. Ansari's vision and have worked alongside her for years, (which is so rare nowadays) and makes such a difference! Being a Montessori School, our son has consistently had the same teacher: Mrs. Carattini. We could not be more grateful for how loving, patient, gentle, nurturing and caring she is. The result is, our son, along with his little peers' flourish into confident, independent, curious children who have undoubtedly been positively impacted by a unique, positive learning environment. Montessori education makes a world of a difference and challenges students to remain true to who they are while cultivating a genuine love for learning. I could not recommend Growing Minds Montessori School more highly to anyone who is looking for a solid educational foundation as well as a loving, nurturing environment for their child. It was the best decision of our lives, and it will be yours too!

Now they are entering first grade well above grade level and are often regarded as the kindest and most well-behaved children. I credit much of their social and academic development to Mrs. Ansari, Mrs Carratini, and the other wonderful teachers at GMMS. If you value high quality montessori education and want a supportive and peaceful learning environment for your little one then this is the place!

For starters we were paying $223.00 (with whatever CC fees included) a week for our 3 year old to attend pre-school. We had a tour of the premises a year prior with Rose (she resigned the month our daughter started) who explained what the curriculum was, showed us the classrooms and overall it seemed too good to be true....and boy was it. A year later we decided we would try placing our daughter here because we were (with traffic and all) 6 minutes away from Kids R Kids. When she first started we were allowed to go in to the classroom (which no school had ever allowed since the pandemic so this was a nice change) and it was allowed on Monday's which is nice since it's the beginning of the week and what not. The first teacher she had was a total sweetheart (Miss Angie) she explained that she was in charge of the babies but that now she would be in the 3-5 y/o classroom. But, we then noticed there was another teacher. Which is when our daughter's demeanor changed completely. My daughter told us every day how she didn't like the school and we chucked it up to be because it was new and she didn't know anyone. She would come home telling us that they would watch videos on an iPad about super random things, that they never did arts and crafts, that they never really had circle time or learned anything. She came to me once telling me how her teacher was really mean and how she puts her friends in timeout and tells them that because they are now in timeout she won't be giving them their afternoon snack (seriously?). Again we thought she was being a little extra, but soon we saw it for ourselves. One day I called the school and asked to speak with the program director and I told her that my daughter was super bored in her class (Room Number 400 Pre-School). That I would do the quests books with her here after school and her answer to me was, "Well we are currently experiencing a shortage of teachers since not a lot of teachers want to work with small kids. We also had another teacher for this classroom that quit and went somewhere where they offered her better pay (why would she even tell a parent this! So unprofessional). At one point we thought we might have to close the program for that age group. The person who was supposed to be the teacher for that classroom also failed her final exams and she is to re-take them in September, so then, we can place her in the classroom. I hope you understand we aren't raising Einstein's here we are simply following the Florida guide according to their level". THAT ALONE HAD ME FURIOUS. A week later, I log in to see the cameras and when I log in I see it is lunchtime. I noticed a child threw away his plate in the trash can which had no trash bag. At this point the teacher notices the child does this and grabs the trash can and flips it over throwing all of the trash on the floor. She grabs the paper-towels and has the child clean this up. As a parent I'm freaking out because I know this is not acceptable. Immediately, I called the school and complained about this. I asked that someone would please call me back but of course no one did. Both my husband and I decided to go to the school and speak directly with the program/school director. She met with us and informed us that the time stamp I gave her for when this incident happened coincidently is "missing". That this is not normal behavior and began to tell my husband and me that she didn't know if the 19 year old teacher was acting this way because of what she might be exposed to at her house and that she couldn't really fire her because of the shortage in personnel they had. That all she could do is rehabilitate her (as if this was a prison) and make sure she's not alone with the children until she is properly trained. Both my husband and I were shocked. Needless to say our daughter no longer attends this school.

TLE is a dedicated brand that caters very well to kids. They require a lot of work from the teachers that work there. Therefore, the kids do learn a lot of things in these schools. It's safe, they have a great quality of learning props and educational programs available for children. They even have a channel on YouTube that anyone can access to - help introduce their cute animals who teach what TLE hopes to inspire and explore It may be a bit pricey for some parents, but if you can afford it - I highly recommend it. I never know what classroom my child will be in at pick up or what teacher she will be with. Monday (11/27) at pick up there was a teacher holding a completely naked toddler on her hip outside at 5pm when it was 60ish degrees. No effort or rush to dress this child. Two other teachers stood there laughing about this poor girl. When I spoke with the director, Darlene, the next morning her tone was accusatory and she did not seem as concerned as she should've been. The facility always smells dirty as well. At no point have I walked in and thought 'it smells freshly cleaned in here.' As a parent, it is concerning the level of neglect going on at this facility. If you have other options, do not send your children here. I elevated my complaints to the district manager, Kelly, and she also did not seem to care about the safety and well being of the children.
