Since moving here 2 years ago this has become my favorite place to shop. Most of what they sell is salvage and overstock from other stores which most of the time means that if boxes are crushed or torn, packages have been opened, companies have changed the labeling on products or if they just have too much stock on hand, you will save BIG by purchasing at Marden's. Some of my finds have been: -Interior paint for $5, selling for $15 elsewhere -Vitamins, supplements & OTC meds for 30-60% less -End of season clothing on clearance for $5 or less -Popular hair appliances for about 50% off -Skincare and hair products for about 50% off -Foods for about 50% off -Home decor & kitchen items for about 50-75% off If you are a bargain shopper then you will love this place, be careful though because they don't have regular inventory, so you can't count on something still being there the next time you come in. Their catchy jingle will play in your head if you miss out on something: "I should have bought it when I saw it at Marden's"

A newly opened spot in St. Andrews that is beyond cute -- and how can you not go inside a place…read morenamed Marmalade? This place is dangerous... I wanted to buy so many things! Finding a proper boutique in St. Andrews that isn't filled with souvenirs was lovely. We bought a couple of goodies here, but seriously, I had to control myself as everything looked like it was out of a magazine. We also got to chat with the owner, who was so friendly and welcoming. She told us more about her vision for the store, her dreams, and future plans. If you're visiting the town (or even a local), definitely pop in for a visit.
