Chloe was always responsive and really pushed for the evaluation to be reviewed in its entirety. During my son's IEP meeting, Chloe stood-up for my son in a way that brought tears to my eyes. It is rare to find people who are as dedicated to their profession, but that also genuinely care about the population that they serve. Because of her dedication and support during the IEP process, I decided to have my son attend speech therapy with Language and Literacy Group--even though we live far away, and our insurance does not cover these services. In the 3.5 months that my son has been attending therapy with Chloe and Molly, he has made noticeable progress in the way he expresses himself and his desire to communicate more with peers and his family. My son got to try out a class with Coach Roy (who was wonderful!) to see if it was a good fit for him, and now he takes lessons weekly with Coach Justice (equally fantastic!). The whole staff is warm and friendly, and they accommodate to each child's needs. Coach Justice provides great structure and challenge for my son, while also allowing him the agency to be creative in what he's learning and working on. My son is engaged and focused the whole hour, and is really proud to show us at home the progress he's made each week. There was an incident happened in the class which involved 4 kids. Without any formal notice, the owner Pilar determined my son's qualifications to the class. While all other 3 kids continued attending the class. I called Pilar to find out what was going on. Surprisingly, she had no idea! Luckily, I knew all other students parents. I had to call each one of them to get a full picture of the incident. To my surprise, my son was not the one causing the problem, instead, he was the one asking other students stop fighting. I called Pilar and questioned her judgment and managing skills. Eventually, I had to communicate with the principal so my son could finish the rest of the classes! Definitely worse of the worse! I can't believe either her or the teacher who taught in the class would not know what had happened in the class!!!
