They know their stuff and price is right…read more Found the service very quick and the advice they is give is to the point and get the job done. Jenn C review is pretty spot so i don't have anything else to add. It's a shame they don't recover files but that's the service they choose to not provide so can't really compliant about that. It's a nice to have but not a deal break in my opinion Would recommend to others and bring any future computer needs to these guys.

Have used this shop on two occasions: two blue screens of death on different laptops (Vista, and…read moreWindows 7). The shop itself is located next to the BMO in the Longstreet strip mall across from the Oliver Safeway. Their proximity to home made them very appealing to use haha. Each time, basically I brought the laptop in, explained the problem, and the young Asian guy had a preliminary idea of what the issue was and would explain what he thought. (There is also an older Asian guy who works there but I think he's just there to accept new items as he barely speaks English.) There is a diagnostic fee - left it overnight - and he would call if he thought there would be additional charges. In Vista case, the laptop wouldn't get past the loading screen, but the guy was able to extract the hard drive and put it into an external drive (minimal cost), which ended up working out and we were able to recover all the documents. In the Windows 7 case, he wasn't able to recover the hard drive (fortunately I had backed it up not too long before), but he switched out a piece that he thought was faulty (minimal cost) and re-installed Windows 7 for me. So overall, I am happy with A-Computer's services. However, the guy noted that they don't touch personal stuff, so he wouldn't be able to fix stuff related to personal documents on the hard drive.

Their work has always addressed the issue I mentioned and at times they've uncovered issues that I didn't even know were there If I had one bone to pick its that they're a little slow to communicate messages otherwise they're my regular store and I'm perfectly OK with allowing them to remain that way.

PCwhoop repaired it with ease and elegance and fast. They are the best electronics place in the city! Recently we bought a gently used Macbook from PCwhoop that was on their website, it was a great deal and works perfectly. I highly recommend PCwhoop!! Thank you PCwhoop, stay golden.

He's more lie a Human Lifeline in a Digital World…read more If you've ever felt that sinking dread when your computer freezes, your files vanish, or your Wi-Fi decides to ghost you... you know how desperately you need someone you can truly trust. For me, that person is Walid at WMTechSupport. I've been lucky enough to work with Walid for a few years now, and I still get that little wave of relief every time he replies to my message. He doesn't just fix my tech--he rescues me. With patience, expertise, and a calm kindness that feels increasingly rare these days. Why Walid stands out: He's trustworthy - I hand over my devices without a second thought--he treats them like his own. He's been consistently excellent. Not once has he disappointed. Ever. Fair & transparent pricing. No surprise fees, no upselling, just honest value. Human first service In an age of chatbots and AI scripts, Walid listens. He explains things clearly, never makes you feel small, and genuinely cares about your peace of mind. What moves me most isn't just his technical genius (though wow, is he good)--it's his heart. Walid reminds us that behind every screen is a person who deserves compassion, respect, and a little warmth. At a time when technology can feel cold and impersonal, he's a gentle reminder of what matters, real human connection. If you haven't met Walid yet, please give him a chance. Visit [WMTechSupport.com](https://www.wmtechsupport.com/), send him a message, or just say hello. You'll not only get your tech back in shape--you'll meet someone who still believes service is about people, not just problems. Before the robots take over completely, let's hold onto the Walid's of the world. I Highly, warmly, wholeheartedly recommended his service. With gratitude Vee Persaud

I spent 7 hours trying to figure out how to order and upgrade a new computer from out of town so I…read morecould pick it up ready one my days off. It was a frustrating pain in the neck. Automated phone lines with A.I. generated responses that could not understand my situation. Phoned Memory Express on the South side of Edmonton and Reese, (a human being), answered and understood what I needed and exactly how to procure it. I am not a computer expert but I knew what I wanted and what questions to ask. My solution took 5 minutes for Reese to develop. I wish there were more stars to give. I was blown away by his knowledge and professionalism. I will be driving past 20 other computer places to get to this particular store. Thanks again Reese. Your new, and now loyal customer.

I love this store. It's really great to have a local tech company with qualified staff at your…read morefingertips. At the moment, they are just not able to answer the phones due to sheer volume and staffing, so calling for curbside or other information is not possible. It's a pandemic...everyone take a breath, they will still help you out - and with a smile! There is NO in-person shopping. I'd definitely recommend shopping online, getting all your screen shots or part numbers on a list before you arrive to not waste the staff's time as they are BUSY. I arrived and the parking lot wasn't very busy - good sign. There were only a couple of folks ahead of me, and the floor is clearly marked for physical distancing, and someone was at the door to direct guests. Staff were all super busy, and I went late at night to avoid people... the staff were cheerful, HELPFUL, and went to great lengths to find the borescope/endoscope camera I came for (the website said there were 8 in stock,) so it was just a matter of finding their hiding spot. It took two staff to locate it, and locate it they did. I felt safe, staff sanitized the PIN pad after every guest, and I witnessed frequent cleaning by all the staff at the registers. I like to shop local... a lot, and I want to keep my IT peeps fed and housed. I like having a local shop that I can return or exchange items if there's an issue, and Memory Express does that and more for my personal and work needs. Ordering online... you can do that too! They definitely ship, and I wouldn't hesitate except I needed it sooner than later to check my vent for birds/nests - yes it's November/December, but I don't want to block any feathered friends inside before putting on the screening! The only location offering Curbside right now is in Manitoba, however, with the upcoming new restrictions in Alberta, check with them on Monday...that may change!
