I think the name of this store is really cute but it's not my cup of tea. The style is not me. A lot of the clothes have rock n roll written all over it. I didn't like any of the t-shirts because of the stuff written on them. read more

I am so sorry that I bought my husband over $1000 worth of clothes for his birthday and UPS quoted my almost $500 to return them, AT MY EXPENSE, but also with inadequate information to create a return. HORRIBLE experience. I am so sorry that they have gone downhill. When you call their customer service they just tell you to write them an email. I can't even fill out a DHL return label with the lack of information I have. I feel completely ripped off and furious.

It's definitely more conservative classy but perfect for work or more dressy events. We purchased a number of items in store because the quality, fit, and winter/new year prices were good. There is a NYC and an online presence for this retailer so do check out their catalog. I personally like the fit of their coats, scarves, and dresses. #316-2016: Bershka…read moreis one of those brands that you either throughly enjoy or don't really get... There is no in between on the matter... Like many reviewers before me, I would categorize it as semi-casual shabby chic sporty young hipster and.. why not just a tad out-of-bed that took me a few hours to coordinate and still look like as raggidy as the next one... That said I have to face the music, I no longer am a teenager (though even my own teenager daughter doesn't seem to fancy this store that much anyways). The location is prime (one of the main shopping strip in Milan downtown), the average costumer is between the age of 12 and 25, both guys and girls are attracted like moth to a dimmed light... That is what bugs me about it... The fact that I can barely see what I am purchasing... I am not asking for UV lights but I would like to know if what I am buying is a certain shade of pink only to find out it is not even yellow (know I mean?) I usually step in, hoping it not be too packed (I get semi-panick attacks lately) and then try and make my way through the racks... The average staff is somewhat looking like they would much rather work elsewhere but they Andre young and they wanna have fun.... though I am sure the paycheck at the end of the month should be reason enough to cracks a smile every now and again... let's just say costumers service is not their best suit.
This branch of Bershka, probably the biggest in town, has been open for about 3 years now. Most of…read morethe times there's people in the entrance taking photos in front of the car at the entrance (kind of like Abercrombie but here there's a car instead of the half-naked model). Anyhow, if you know the brand you know what to expect: cheap clothes, fashionable but oriented to younger customers than Zara or Pull&Bear. Dim lights as in other shops nowadays, I will never get it... How can I buy something if I can't even see its proper color with this darkness?! At least the music here is not terribly loud. I had noticed in previous visits that staff just looks annoyed all the time (imho they're dressed as if they just got out of bed and ran out of clean clothes) but the worst was today: I picked a pair of pants for a friend and went to pay for them, when I gave them to the guy at the register he just tossed them in a plastic bag without folding them or anything, as if it was dirty laundry and not an item I had just purchased (even if things are cheap here, I'm still paying for them!) and at my request of "please can you fold them better since they'll be a gift" I got the usual sigh and annoyed look... Too bad. It started as a 3-stars review, but 1 got lost after I paid.
Before coming to Salvagente, I heard you could buy really nice, well-known designer brands for…read moreREALLY cheap. Stuff like Moscino, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, etc. Clearly NOT! I guess the July sale began YESTERDAY, so all the good stuff got bought- either that, or, they just don't have a good selection in general. Spent about 2 hours rummaging through racks and racks of size 42/44 clothes, and found 1 nice black Velvet long sleeve dress, 1 sexy Fisico black summer dress, and 1 KAOS denim tight dress. Cute, but not the designer name brands I was looking for. If the sale only started yesterday, there should've still been SOME stuff... Ugh. Regardless, there was helpful staff and well-labeled racks, something that, as an avid thrift, vintage, and second-hand shopper, I am appreciative for.

Il Salvagente is one of the best design outlets, and it's completely within easy transportation reach in Milan. It's two floors of gorgeous Italian and international design, from the big brands such as Moschino, D&G, Max Mara and Celine to smaller local brands. You'll find everything from big gala dresses, amazing shoes, hats, bags, scarfs, shirts, skirts, casual wear, coats and jackets - there is also a decent mens section that Ulrik loves to ransack. Whenever I go to Corso Como, I spent at least 2-3 intense hours going through thousand pieces of clothes - I went a week ago and managed to buy the most beautiful Max Mara winter coat for just 315 euro and gorgeous wedges at a bargain price of 70 euros. Ulrik covered his entire winter sweater demand with just 350 euro! The place is large (not American large) and still, they've managed to squeeze in a lot of clothes and stuff in the space available. And the quality and selection is so good that I've never had the displeasure of walking out empty handed. I just love this place :-)

They have lots of fruits, veggies, shirts, pants, foods like salami and cheeses, perfumes, bags, jewelry, and bathing suits. If you're looking for something cheap and easy, you can probably find it here. They sell a lot of fresh produce and even beauty products. It is very hot so make sure to bring water and stay hydrated. Watch your back because there are a lot of pickpockets. They will also try to sell you fake designer bags that do not even look convincing - don't buy into it. There are many beggars do not give them money. If you try the meats and cheeses here they are phenomenal I would seriously recommend. I only give it three stars because I was going off of the premise of what the Internet said and that was that there was good designer vintage stuff. There was none.
