Boggi Milano used to be a FANTASTIC store to order men's clothes. Now they do not help you AT ALL with returns, they make you pay full shipping costs and do not give you enough information to even create a return. I am so sorry that I bought my husband over $1000 worth of clothes for his birthday and UPS quoted my almost $500 to return them, AT MY EXPENSE, but also with inadequate information to create a return. HORRIBLE experience. I am so sorry that they have gone downhill. When you call their customer service they just tell you to write them an email. I can't even fill out a DHL return label with the lack of information I have. I feel completely ripped off and furious. read more

Factory Store is about a 30% discount over retail on new merchandise. Upstairs is Last Call, where old and damaged (and I mean damaged) merchandise ends up. Boggi is somewhat like a European Brooks Brothers, and I was able to get two made-in-EU suits there for under $300 each. Designs are classic, though the largest size would be around a US 44/46R, pants a 36/38 waist. Boggi clothes are made by different manufacturers, so try the fit of every product you want to buy. Staff was EXTREMELY helpful, even though I spoke no Italian. They're obviously very used to It's right outside the Milano Lancetti train stop, too--can't miss it. read more

Definitely a nice place for shopping, even if the shirts are boring, but oh my god, I love the suits. So many awesome suits. Nice colors, patterns and cuts for an affordable price. I fell in love with it. The service is topically Italian: you always misplaced. It's like entering a Tiffany jewellery store in jeans. Anyhow, great shop! CC, maestro and Amex accepted! read more

Montezemolo is an independent fashion line that has been around for a while and covers everything from serious business suits, weddings 'completi' and some really stylish edgier suits that would make you stand out at Cannes...or anywhere! Their patterns are modern and use a variety of fabrics. The co-owners and staff are friendly, speak a variety of languages (English and Russian are just some) and give good suggestions without making you feel pressured. Montezemolo is surely worth a visit, and if you have a bit of a budget I 'd warmly recommend them over the usual fashion houses or the impersonal 'grandi magazzini' in the area. And there is a gelato place across the street to cool off if all those fancy suits got you a little overexcited.

I wasn't here when it first opened, so I missed out on the Last Supper BOGOs, but it was still a good visit and I picked up some purple socks that I've been wanting but were sold out online. I guess the July sale began YESTERDAY, so all the good stuff got bought- either that, or, they just don't have a good selection in general. Spent about 2 hours rummaging through racks and racks of size 42/44 clothes, and found 1 nice black Velvet long sleeve dress, 1 sexy Fisico black summer dress, and 1 KAOS denim tight dress. Cute, but not the designer name brands I was looking for. If the sale only started yesterday, there should've still been SOME stuff... Ugh. Regardless, there was helpful staff and well-labeled racks, something that, as an avid thrift, vintage, and second-hand shopper, I am appreciative for.

Il Salvagente is one of the best design outlets, and it's completely within easy transportation reach in Milan. It's two floors of gorgeous Italian and international design, from the big brands such as Moschino, D&G, Max Mara and Celine to smaller local brands. You'll find everything from big gala dresses, amazing shoes, hats, bags, scarfs, shirts, skirts, casual wear, coats and jackets - there is also a decent mens section that Ulrik loves to ransack. Whenever I go to Corso Como, I spent at least 2-3 intense hours going through thousand pieces of clothes - I went a week ago and managed to buy the most beautiful Max Mara winter coat for just 315 euro and gorgeous wedges at a bargain price of 70 euros. Ulrik covered his entire winter sweater demand with just 350 euro! The place is large (not American large) and still, they've managed to squeeze in a lot of clothes and stuff in the space available. And the quality and selection is so good that I've never had the displeasure of walking out empty handed. I just love this place :-)

If you're looking for something cheap and easy, you can probably find it here. They sell a lot of fresh produce and even beauty products. It is very hot so make sure to bring water and stay hydrated. Watch your back because there are a lot of pickpockets. They will also try to sell you fake designer bags that do not even look convincing - don't buy into it. There are many beggars do not give them money. If you try the meats and cheeses here they are phenomenal I would seriously recommend.
