That is the only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. When it came time to have them leave, all went wrong with the billing and finances. They were charged double rent TWICE during the months we were working on moving them out to be with family in another state. I HAD to find the errors and chase them with the property finance person - one was refunded promptly, the other refund has dragged out for months after dozens of emails, many ignored and unanswered. I kept pushing for an answer and was finally told it would be refunded, but was "so old" from November of 2023 it would take several more weeks. It never happened. Now their finance rep says they don't owe us the double payment refund and to "look at their ledger" and sent me a copy. Means nothing when we have a charge twice taken from our bank and I have to justify and decipher their ledger? NO WAY TO TREAT A CUSTOMER, much less a family in our position. Lack of customer service and follow through is appalling. No way to treat a family or run a business.

Love this place! There are two identical cottages with 18 rooms each. Each room has a large window, and its own bathroom with toilet, large shower with a padded bench, and sink. Each cottage has a wonderful covered porch with comfortable furniture. There is also an enclosed patio. One building is for memory care residents, so it is locked. The other building is not locked. The property has lovely, large, shady oaks, and a large lawn where I like to have picnics with my mother. Most important is the administration and caregivers. There is a full time nurse, activities director, chef, manager, and the all important caregivers. They are all wonderful, caring individuals for whom I am so grateful for.

The Nurse told me that he was doing well on the New Medication until one day he became combative. The Nurse phoned me to say she was sending him to the hospital to regulate his Medication and Wasn't going to let him return to the home until his med. was regulated . When I arrived at the hospital the Dr. said my husband was severely dehydrated, had a hemoglobin of 4, kidney were suffering and he had to have his appendix removed . Of course, The Dr. said, this man is sick and that was the reason for his behavior. My husband died 13 days later. All the Memory care wanted to do was keep him sedated so they didn't have to deal with him. My husband wore the same clothes with no shower for 5 days and the staff said he refused to shower. I went up and gave him sponge baths and cleaned him up. These are people, not profit centers. These people deserve to maintain their dignity. I don't know what I was paying $4,500.00 a month for. The staff was mediocre at best. Administration were All Hormonal females. I am a true Christian and the home proclaimed to be Faith based??? God will get justice for my children. God says to love his people, take care of them and protect them. They did none of that. Am I bitter?No. do I miss my husband? Yes.God will prevail.
