The last time I had a noon appointment, showed up 5 minutes before and then waited more than 1/2 hour for someone who came in to get their earlier haircut fixed up because it wasn't short enough . For today, I booked an appointment 5 weeks in advance directly with Pink. I showed up and she looked at me strangely and asked if I had an appointment. I said yes, for noon. She said, oh ya, I remember you booking it. Unfortunately we changed our booking system and someone else is ahead of you. Do you want to wait? I said no, I made an appointment for noon and am not waiting again, and I walked out. She chose to prioritize someone who had booked after me over me and my time is as valuable as hers. I got zero notification as to any changes from Manmade. Time to look for another barber.

To top it off, we had a very unusual issue with a backpack from our group being taken from the store by a walk-in, and rather than dismissing it as "something that happens" Shantel quickly and effectively followed up, checked security camera footage, identified the individual, then FOUND THE INDIVIDUAL DOWN THE STREET HAVING LUNCH. I must emphasize this with capitals because it was honestly unbelievable - she then confronted him and was able to recover the backpack. I could not believe that this actually unfolded in this way, as her extra efforts made our day and became a memorable part of our bachelor party weekend.
