I have been very distraught over an incident that happened with the estate sales company MV LLC. The sale was on the street Tamarack Dr. in Shelby Mi. I purchased a lot of Dawn Dolls and clothes. They accepted my offer of $200.00 cash for the lot. The pictures were posted on their site of the purchase. I gave them a $20.00 cash deposit and went to the bank for the rest. When I returned (10 minutes later) I gave them the remaining amount. However, I failed to look in the box that was closed. The woman told me that I needed to put the box in my car right away. I didn't look inside right away because I didn't think I had to. When I did open the box I noticed half the purchase was missing. All the bags of doll clothes and half the dolls were gone. I went back the next day and toured the house to see if they were selling them again. And left, I didn't know what to do at this point.
On the last day, I went back and confronted them about the missing purchased items. They denied any wrongdoing and said why did I wait 3 days to come back. I had a conversation with one of the owner's sisters that were at the sale, and she assured me that they would give me my money back if I brought the items I originally purchased back. However, that was not the case when I returned. They told me that I was trespassing, and would not let me talk to the owner or her sister that they were in charge. They told me that I took the items myself. I asked to see the pictures on the website that they posted, but they ignored me and told me to get off the property and that I was trespassing because the sale was ended.
I have never had this happen at an estate sale where they blatantly lied to you and took back half the items they sold you (robbed). I asked for a refund because half of the things I paid for were missing and the owner's sister assured me they would refund me when I returned with the remaining items I purchased.
This estate company robbed me. I just wanted the items that I purchased back. These people are thieves, I suggust never to go to any of their sales. They are deviant people that will rip you off in a second. Their logo is "have a blessed day" right.................. I still will be making a police report. read more
