I gave specific instructions on how medicine was to be administered and it was on the box also and they gave 3 times as much. I called to several times to see how my dog was doing and they said he was doing great. My dog was in good health when dropped off and had just seen the Vet. My dog could not walk by the time he was picked up. He had a UTI and explosive diarrhea in the car. He was missing patches of hair around his anus. (I suspect this had been going on for days and they let the explosive diarrhea go on for days and just combed out the feces from his fur to the point he has bald patches around his anus). I called and the owner finally admitted "Oh, I was wondering why patches of fur were coming out". And then admitted to me he was never given a bath after being in constant urine and feces. If you expect your dog will get medical care when it gets sick at this place ... guess again. I am guessing - by the shape my dog is in that this has been going on for at least a week - and I was being told he was okay. If I could upload the pictures, I would. When you drop off your dog, ask what they will do if it gets sick. When I called every time they lied and said my dog was okay. If they had told the truth, I would have had my Vet visit the kennel and prescribe him medication. (I would have set everything up all on my own. All they had to do was be truthful). Unfortunately, I finally looked at their YELPP reviews and two other owners have had the SAME EXACT THING OCCUR. (When the dog gets sick, they cover it up). Makes no sense. The first thing they should do is inform the owner. PLEASE CHECK YELP BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR DOG HERE. And if you do choose to send your dog here. Make sure your Vet does out of office visits/home visits. And demand they call you immediately if your dog gets sick and you can arrange for your Vet to come to Dog Mountain Lodge; because these people will not tell you that your dog is sick ... even when you call repeatedly and ask how your dog is doing. See Paul C review 8 years ago. Problem is still going on and owners are still being lied to.

The team leaves the most detailed daily visit updates AND takes the cutest pictures of my cat (always Instagram worthy!). My cat, Tinky, has FIV and I've left her in their care during a few rough patches with her health. They go above and beyond in so many ways. I've never once doubted their judgement and when she was constipated I really felt like they wanted her to poop JUST as much as I did :) They even brought her some pumpkin treats to help the process along! I usually leave Tinky in their care around the holidays and her birthday happens to be December 26th. Every year I tear up at the video they send of them singing Happy Birthday to my precious daughter when I'm unable to be there. I trust Dogzilla and Cat Cong completely and would recommend them to every cat/dog owner who is looking for a trustworthy, communicative, and professional sitter. They truly are the best of the best!

So glad we did! I was worried initially about leaving our 2 kitties who have been with us 24/7 since the start of the year. Nigel was able to get them comfortable and purring on the first visit. He kept them to their routine, gave them plenty of play-time and attention. They were pampered and happy. He is a gem. After each visit, we received a detailed report and wonderful pictures. Also, his website is a dream to use. Very professional and wonderful service. Also very well priced for what you get. Highly, highly recommend!

We spoke as if we were old friends and she even suggested a diet for me to put Denali on while we were away to keep her thin. Well, to be honest to get her thinner. I followed her suggestion and when I dropped her off for the 11 day stay it was with what I thought was a full stay's worth of Green Beans for my beloved pup. From the first to the last days Kristy kept me in the loop how Denali was doing with text messages, Facebook Messages and lots of pics. It looked like Denali was having so much fun that she wasn't going to want to come home! I just picked Denali up and thank G-d she remembered me and literally leapt into my arms as she recognized the whistle that I have for her. She looks GREAT! The green bean and kibble diet has worked like a charm and she is back to her svelt self! I was also pleasantly surprised that while I had not packed enough green beans that Kristy and Allen had gone out of their way and purchased enough for her to last the rest of the stay. One doesn't see that kind of dedication that often anymore. I will for sure be bringing my dogs back to Golden Delight Kennels!

As I was getting my dog I was informed in a very nasty tone that I would not be charged this time but next time I would be. When I questioned this, being that it was literally 3 minutes, I was attacked. I was screamed at...cursed at...told I was inconsiderate, that we could no longer do business together. I was then blocked from and bashed on the personal Facebook page of the owner. This has happened to not one, not two and not even three other people that I know of....there have been several incidents of this nature that I have been told about. I have seen the unprofessional bashing of customers on Facebook as well. If this is the type of customer service that would make you want to do business with this establishment then I would highly recommend Golden Delight Kennels! After how I was treated I would rather drive to the other side of the County or even into Orange County before doing business with an establishment like this.

They have told me truthfully about how my dog does energy and anxiety-wise while in boarding so I was able to make a call on whether or not an extended stay was good for him, or if I needed to find an at-home sitter for my longer vacation trips. I appreciated this immensely and they gained my trust even more. The folks at Wag Inn get him exercise while there and understand how to work with him. I absolutely love Wag Inn and am so thankful to have found them.
