The aesthetics and decor were really nice at this restaurant, and there was also an outside eating area. We both ordered the Shrimp Rigatoni. When it arrived, it looked really good, so I was really excited to try it. Unfortunately, the Rigatoni pasta was hard (way too al dente) to be able to enjoy it well. The shrimp was perfectly cooked though. We informed our server about this. He offered to bring another dish out; however, we were only visiting and were in a rush to catch a train after we were finished, so we did not take him up on that offer.

The drinks were great, pornstar martini, hanky panky, Kir royale and French 75. All great ! We tried the hasselback potatoes and the ceviche , highly recommend both !! So fresh and the ceviche is served with this amazing soft and chewy bread and sweet potato chips. The potatoes had a awesome creamy sauce under them and were cooked to perfection. They literally melt in your mouth. Our server interacted with us and made great suggestions of where we could go after this place and in the evening. Inside the place is beautifully decorated, classy place. Really nice bar inside too. Located in the busy Plac Nowly area it was a great little pit stop in our day.

Took 30min to get a fork and a napkin, more of course to get our meal ready. Apparently, there was a "lunch menu" but it was written down after our arrival (we arrived 12h30) and they wrote it 13h15, before we actually started to eat. And nobody felt like letting us know. The food is nearly decent but lacks quantity. The price is awfully expensive for Kraków. That doesn't worth more than 2 stars.

Normally carpaccio is thin slices, this was more of a tartare. Then I had the turbot with asparagus, turbot was nice but did not blow me away. Because when we passed Trzy Rybki, the restaurant within the Hotel Stary, we couldn't withstand. Admittedly it was the most expensive lunch we had in Krakow in the four days or our stay there. But the delicious food and the perfect service were just right and we enjoyed everything, from the bread to the polish mineral water (we refrained to drink San Pellegrino in Poland). By the way: Also the cars in front of the hotel were quite interesting: latest BMW M6, Maserati Quattroporte and Mercedes S - as we were the only guest probably the cars of the 3 owners (who are said to have some more nice restaurants and hotels in Poland).
