I met her after researching and interviewing several conservators in regard to the restoration of a much cherished original Charles Schulz drawing which had been crushed when a large bundle of wood had fallen on the face of it. The drawing had been mounted some time in the 1960's on a highly acidic pulp board which had already caused a substantial amount of deterioration to the original paper itself. What she was able to do for this drawing can only be described as a resurrection. She was able to remove the original drawing from it's torturous substrate and restore it to a condition far better than before it was damaged. From the moment she looked at the drawing I knew that she understood the sentimental value and the respect I had for it and it was clear to me that she respected me as well. Right away I felt confident that I would chose Strange Stock even though I had yet to meet with other conservators. Soon after she agreed to take on the project she provided a detailed report including method, time frame and estimate of cost. She kept in frequent contact with me during the entire process and exhibited the highest of ethical standards. I will recommend her to all of my friends and business associates.
