Every child has their temperature taken, questions asked about any cold or cough symptoms and hand sanitizer is used both before and after class. The equipment is all sanitized daily. They have a liberal make up policy for missed classes. They also have occasional open gyms to practice skills and parent night out events with pizza and activities. It's exciting to see all the progress my granddaughter has made in such a short time and the joy and confidence she is showing during her classes. One tip is that you need to book early as the classes fill quickly.

My child has been to a few different daycare programs, including one that's literally 2x the price (Bright Horizons). However, HHP is the only place where my partner and I felt all the teachers (that we've met thus far) have a genuine passion for the kids. At a previous daycare, my child only talked about one teacher who seemed to really care, who unsurprisingly was the only teacher we felt actually enjoyed her job as a preschool teacher. However, at HHP, my child raves about all the teachers. There is a glaring weakness at HHP though, and that's the administration team. Unfortunately, other Yelp feedback about the slow and sometimes lack of responses (via phone or email) are true in my experience. Phone calls or emails go unanswered for days or weeks at a time, if at all. Fortunately, interaction with the admin office are mostly unnecessary after the child is actually enrolled. I'm hoping this area will be improved! If there are any "emergencies" or issues with my child at school, the teachers are very good about either calling or emailing us. And teachers are timely in their responses to our proactive emails to them as well. All in all, HHP has been a very positive place for my child.

When we moved to this area, I toured a handful and I can say Harper has been by far the best place we have sent our child to. It's incredibly nurturing, calm, and serene. All the teachers are so kind to the kids. During the tour I was told it's academic here, but after sending my child here, I would say there's a great balance between learn and play. They are also exposed to so many different topics, subjects, and interests- from science, music, alphabets, sports, numbers, cooking, cars, and so much more. When the kids learn, they are learning together in a group and cooperatively. When I ask my son everyday how school was, he will mainly talk about his friends because that's what made the most impact to him daily. On the weekends and holiday break, he always asks if he can go to school, which he's never done before. We are very happy and are grateful for all the teachers and staff for making our son's early childhood education journey so magical and fun.

Life gets busy and unexpected things come up, but she always makes an effort to schedule makeup lessons as soon as possible, even through Zoom when needed, so her students can stay consistent and continue learning without losing momentum.
