I've been in here several times and had mixed results...Like all the other reviewers are saying, the shop itself is incredible, the inventory and vibes are both top tier. Tons' of stuff for every genre, prices can be a bit steep but from what i've seen, nothing is "overpriced". The big issue is the staff, every time i've been in here it's been the same two gentlemen. A shorter plump man i've come to know as "Brad" and a taller white haired fella' whose name I haven't yet caught. Brad is a bit of a know it all who treats you as if you're lesser if you don't meet his standard. He isn't the most helpful guy but won't be flat-out rude, just seems disinterested. The taller white haired guy is a bit more reserved, I did try to sell him a cymbal once and after initially telling me they "had too many ride cymbals" proceeded to come up to me and ask 3-4 separate times during my stroll throughout the store "what do you want for it". Even after I repeatedly said I wasn't sure of how much it's worth and for him to shoot me an offer. I'll keep coming back solely because it's the closest music store to my area, best to go in there with a good idea of what you want because they aren't interested in helping. P.S: you're likely to have a better experience if you are a woman, especially with brad. He hit on my mom on more than one occasion and was far more interested in talking to my girlfriend than to the guy exactly interested in what he's selling (me). read more
