I still remember it as being one of the most fun things I did those couple of years. I always looked forward to going. In fact, I got a few friends to take lessons from him too. My mom also took yoga lessons and raved about it! I'm not a naturally good guitar player in fact I'm slightly rhythmically challenged, but Craig is so patient and intelligent in his ways of teaching. I improved each week. I really looked up to him, and I'm so glad Muse For Life is a success ~ It's truly an important part of the music and teaching community! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to take a lesson the staff is wonderful!

I've been taking bass lessons with Riley for about 2.5 years. In every way, he is a phenomenal…read moreteacher, and our sessions are a highlight of my week. Starting out as a complete beginner, working with him has given me the structure I need to improve, kept me accountable, and has given me a strong understanding of the instrument. More than that, it has made learning fun! What started for me as something of a COVID hobby has evolved into a truly rewarding skill that continues to be fulfilling for me years later, in no small part due to having an excellent teacher to guide me through it. Riley and the other instructors are absolute pros and wildly impressive musicians themselves. They really craft the experience to your goals and what you are most interested in. Finally, the online lesson model is a total game changer. It works exceptionally well and--as a working professional with demanding hours--gives me the flexibility and convenience I need in my week. I'd recommend Bass Lessons Unlimited to anyone interested in taking their playing to the next level.

We originally hired Brian to give guitar lessons to our teenage son. After hearing my son's…read moreprogress, I wanted to learn, so now I take lessons too. Here's what I like about Brian's teaching style, and why I recommend him as a teacher: * gets students off to a fun start - the first chords and strum patterns are used in songs by lesson two or three. If you only study for a few months, you'll still end up knowing how to play some great guitar songs. If you stick with it longer, you'll learn more. * teaches songs the student likes - selects songs that match the lessons and student preferences. * drills the fundamentals, but in a nice way - He won't let you forget to use that metronome and practice those scales * catches mistakes before they become habits - This is so valuable - I don't know what I don't know, and an online you-tube teacher doesn't know either. * encourages students thru the hard stuff - There were skills I did not think I could master - picking strings, barre chords, to name a few. Brian said yes you can, you will, and then sure enough, the skill came in and I am glad I did not give up. * endless patience - Sometimes I need to hear something about a zillion times before it sticks, but Brian never makes me feel bad for forgetting, again. And then eventually it does stick and we move to the next thing. In summary, Brian knows what he's doing as a teacher - knows how to introduce concepts and build from fundamentals, in a way that motivates and is fun. He knows what is hard for students to master and encourages students to push through. Brian took me from complete beginner, to now where I'm having lots of fun playing my guitar, by myself and with friends. And still learning. Five stars for Roswell Guitar Lessons.

Hands down the best guitar player I've ever seen in person. More importantly (at least as far as…read morelessons are concerned), I don't think there's a better teacher around. Jimmy is incredibly knowledgeable in virtually all aspects of the instrument, from technique to theory to song composition, and he knows how to teach to keep you engaged and excited about what you're doing. As far as I can tell, he's able to teach at virtually any level of playing ability, from true beginner (learning how to hold the instrument and strum chords) to virtuoso level (Satriani, Buckethead, etc.). I had taken a break from playing for 5 years and after being inspired to start back up after watching a friend take a lesson from Jimmy, I found it took me only three lessons with Jimmy to eclipse my playing level from years prior, and it only got better from there. Bottom line -- if you think you need lessons, Jimmy is worth visiting.

I was really nervous, but TMS made it fun and easy to find the best time for me each week and matched me with a teacher that I felt safe, comfortable and loved by! More than anything, my teacher has helped me gain confidence and stay inspired to keep practicing every week. We pick music that resonates with me and I stay excited about all of our material because we have chosen it together! Taking music lessons has been such a beautiful form of therapy and I am so grateful to have this place to grow and blossom with. I set a goal when I first started taking lessons six months ago to perform at least once in front of a crowd. I am terrified of public speaking, and taking voice lessons has helped me actively work to conquer this fear. I am proud to say, I was recently able to perform in front of a group and it was the best feeling to celebrate all of my hard work and dedication with my teacher! I also have been able to expand my range by multiple notes with techniques and guidance. I highly recommend this studio for adults interested in finding a new passion or revisiting an old love of music. It's wonderful for children as well and they make it easy for families to take lessons at the same time, together! I love supporting this family owned and managed company and can't say enough good things about the Director, Cecilia. She is so dedicated to her mission and leads with so much love and kindness, but also with decades of experience in music education. Stop by the studio for a tour 7 days a week and see for yourself why this place is a little slice of heaven!
