It was finally sold on consignment after 2 years and several price reductions. The bad news is that they performed unauthorized repairs after the initial work, without explanation, which they then deducted from the balance paid out to the estate. Further, when I discussed this several times with Chris Greco, he assured me it should have been handled differently, and would issue a refund for that unauthorized work after discussing it with Linda. Months later I have no updates and no refunds as promised. I understand the work is specialized, but don't hide what you're doing. At this point I have lost any respect for the business and how they do things.

They had spend an hour looking for it after I purchased it, and then they spend another 20 minutes looking for it after I arrived. To make it up to me they offered me a brand new version of the pedal at the mid point of the difference between the used one and the new one. I took that offer because it was a great deal. Since then I have bought 3 more pedals from them over the years, a microphone, and a whole lot of accessories. If I want to purchase another guitar at any point, I will definitely hit them up if possible.

The Piano Man carries well refurbished used pianos for the most part. They will deliver, move, tune and repair pianos. Most come with a warranty of at least 5 years, some more. Depending on your credit, you can pay in installments, which I suppose if you're a professional pianist having one now instead of saving up might make sense - I didn't ask about terms for this. You can also put a down payment to hold a piano, like any used instrument store, but this is you paying to hold the instrument. If you decide you don't want the piano, that deposit is forfeit. So don't put one down until you're positive you will buy the piano.
