So grateful for the Pac Point Schools…read more I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the Pac Point community. This school has exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment we joined, we were welcomed with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine sense of care. Both of my children have a few unique needs, and something I value as a parent is having responsive teachers. The teachers have not only been responsive, but also insightful and supportive. One of my children has a hard time sitting still, and the teacher provided a recommendation for a special 'wiggly' seat. It instantly helped with focus and staying seated. My other child was struggling in a subject, and the teacher took the time to assess the challenges and helped me better understand the learning needs. The staff genuinely go the extra mile. From the front office staff to the P.E. and academic teachers and yard monitors, everyone seems to genuinely care about the children. When we started two years ago both my children were in elementary school. This year one transferred to the Jr. High, and I can say we are just as happy with that campus. I spent time researching this campus to make sure it was right for my child. The new principle is amazing and was more than happy to meet with me and answer any of my questions. The campus and class sizes are small, which has been ideal for my child. They have interesting, modern electives, and are always looking for ways to add activities for the kids. I took the time to review the academics and was happy to find they put a lot of thought into making sure it is rigorous and prepares the students for the next academic level. I couldn't be happier with our experience and wholeheartedly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing and academically strong environment.

The owners, especially the lady, just want your money. I've sat in at every single session the past…read moretwo months and observed how the sessions are run. The staff are overworked and students are not given enough attention. Students are given work to complete; similar to Kumon. Ratio at one point was 5 students to 1 tutor! The last month was horrible, 4-5 students per instructor. One time during session the only instructor that was there even answered the phones! I advise parents to get out of their cars and observe what they are throwing their money at. You are throwing your money down the drain! Unless you have an endless stream of cash then right go ahead. Lady owner is also so mean. She likes to hide the blocks from my son who has Austism and ADHD. Said they are for fractions, but she's just plain mean, unempathetic and overworks her employees, so she can leave the leave early. Yea, I may be on my phone, but I'm always watching.

Place is understaffed and overworked. Trying to tutor 6 kids and answer phones is unacceptable…read more Can't even imagine if someone calls in sick. Owners need to hire more staff and truly focus on the education of our kids instead making a profit to pay off their Tesla. Find another location with a better ratio of kids to tutor if you really want to see results. Last but not least, every single tutor deserves a huge raise. I would have left months ago if I were you. Good luck with the search!

Crab feed located at Christopher Ranch, http://www.yelp.com/biz/christopher-a-and-d-ranch-gilroy#hrid:0ZXVbUA0J_WQKLwKZqyaSw/src:self seating in 4 barns, signage is poor on the location but once you find it, parking and the feeding is well organized. Noticed many police at the entrance of the ranch. The wine, bread, salad water replenishers are on the ball, crab refills can get slow, at least in barn 2 where we were located. You need to shout out and make a lot of noise to get the most attention to get refills on the cioppino crabs. The sauce is good. Saw some hard core crab people bring extra stuff like crab implements, crackers, scissors, mallets, lemon, pasta for the cioppino sauce, appetizers, desserts, baby wipes. We arrived at 6pm since we were lost for 30 minutes, line to get in was around 20 minutes, a garlic bread girl passed out bread to the people in line. Many were mad because of the poor signage and directions while waiting in line but soon turned into better humor when the line moved to get in. There was plenty of food. Was very well run for such a big event. Cleanup started around 8:30pm in barn 2 and dancing and the bar was open in Barn 1. Was quite fun, definately go with a crowd of fun friends because the diners are loud and raucous. Seating is family style, so you get to know your neighbors when you spew crab and cioppino juice on them. Where washable clothing. Gets chilly at night with the barn doors opens, bring a sweatshirt...yes it is a barn, they do leave the doors open!

It started…read morefrom the day we picked up our schedule, we did not know it was picture day- some lady comes up to my daughter with major bad attitude and tells her we were breaking dress code! We had just moved here, no one bothered to tell us it was going to be picture day. I called school to complain about this rag and it turns out she is the principles secretary but it only took me about 20 calls to get through! Next item my daughter was bullied by another girl, did the school do anything? No. my daughter was singled out as a "rich white girl" we aren't rich, we cashed out if our 1200 sq ft house in downtown San Jose to be here. We work!! Again school and their beloved principle did nothing. It has a huge racial divide. My daughter was offered drugs all of the time! The final straw was a teacher comes to class drunk. My daughter videoed the teacher and told me she was acting strange, well she was drunk! Again took forever to get ahold of principle. My bad I should've walked in to the school and grabbed the principle by the shirt but geese is rich who're people have to fricken work! School would be better if the drugs were gone and they really tried to change the racial issues. Come on it's 2017! So now my daughter lives with her grandma and goes to a great school on the peninsula and I get to basically miss her entire high school experience. Thanks shitty Gilroy and Mr. Awesome Principle. And seriously he is African American he should've been more privy to the racial issues, don't you think?

There are small tables for currently enrolled students and prospective students to use in the lobby. The lines for assistance are usually shorter at the satellite office that they are the main campus. I like that... It's a quick in and out process. If you're looking to further your education...
