For example they run courses such as 'computers for kids' For children aged 6-11 years , 'French for children' ages 5-11 and a drama academy for children also aged 5- 11. There is in addition many courses for adults. Under arts and crafts there is pottery, glass painting, and copper jewellery and many others. In other departments you can learn belly dancing ( if you are in to that! ) and Yoga, creative writing, cooking, sign language, Spanish, French and German. Basic photography, computing and many others The building also has a fully equipped sound studio that you can hire with a qualified audio engineer for £25 an hour. Also in the building is housed the local public library with the free use of computers This is only a brief outline of the activities that the centre provides . There is a free car park quite often very full . But I have always managed to find a place. .There are also other interesting activities at the centre For example on January 21 at 2pm Helen Charles the youngest survivor of a torpedoed world war two ship recounts her experiences' being rescued from the ship. Finally there is no group that can replace ABBA, They were unique, but I am told the group 'BJORN BELIEF' come very close in simulation . They are performing at the centre on Friday 6 th February The bar is open at 7.30pm and after the performance there is a 70/80's disco That's one I will not miss! To see what other goodies you are missing log onto their web site. Or if you want to ask about classes the email address is llcreception@campwsgartholwg.org.uk or phone them (as above)

The centre covers subjects such as law, computer studies, science and the environment, business and management, and social studies. Some people study at the centre as a means of getting onto further courses within one of the university's other Schools, gaining the necessary qualifications to be eligible for full degree courses. Other people just attend to follow a personal interest and continue their lifelong learning at an informal community course. Businesses can send staff on CPD courses covering areas such as Lean Thinking, Project Management, Leadership, Communication Skills, Finance, Statistics, Marketing, and Language and Cultural Awareness. If you fancy learning something new, it's well worth checking out whether this centre offers what you're looking for, as the teaching staff are generally of a good standard.

I took a writing course here, taught by an eccentric novelist who provided practical tips in addition to editing processes I was never privy to when I studied Journalism in uni. I'm quite shy in class, so it was a relief to know we didn't have to share our writing, either - he rightly thought that amateurs commenting on amateurs' work didn't really have much value. Thank God for small favours. The Centre offers day and evening classes to suit those interested in a wide variety of topics, from French classes to Practical Project Management. One, two and three-day courses are available in subjects like Presentation Skills or Islam and Modern Britain. I wish they'd bring back the Film Analysis classes, but I understand with all the rampant budget cuts, we should be grateful they're still running Humanities courses at all!
