It is truly quite small and there was quite a long line to visit. I think due to capacity, people only enter as others leave. I felt I waited in line longer than I spent in the museum itself. There is a short audio guide (free and included with ticket) which was a tad finicky to use. I think seeing the more curated museum was better for me. Visited house museums of artists (ex: Frida Khalo museum in Mexico city) and they were just so much more intimate, robust, and detailed even if the artworks were sparse. This one left me wanting more. 4€ entry and 2.50€ with a discount (ex: student, etc.).

Love graffiti? Then…read moreyou'll be pleased to know that the city of Malaga invited world-famous graffiti artists to paint some of their buildings in an area called Barrio de las Artes - the art quarters or the graffiti quarters - in Soho. Soho is the area you can see on the map here on Yelp: It's located between the big beautiful food market and the broad Parisian street with all the flower shops, and the harbor. I found the area quite interesting cause parts of it was very worn down and the number of sex shops made it feel cheap, and at the same as time they have a big new-build kindergarten smack in the middle with sweet and colorful art in the windows (kid-graffiti?). The street Calle Tomás Heredia which was in very good shape and is an ideal place to start. Bring your camera and walk around the whole area when the sun is out (which it almost always is on the Sunshine Coast). The variety of classic graffiti, playful/smart graffiti and more classic art (painted on a wall that is about to collapse) will keep you entertained.

So we came back for a few beers. And cheap mind you. You won't break the bank here. Doesn't feel very touristy, felt more like a place where locals hang. And had a arty farty vibe. I saw a bloke sitting at a table on his own reading a book and drinking a beer. I love feel of this place. It's set back off the road into a giant garden patio. I think they hold lots of events here. I saw a list of events, but didn't really pay much attention. I think I may wind up a regular here!
