Super cute and authentic location in Valle. It is a restaurant, tasting room, and museum all in one!
Russian migrants have a long history in Valle de Guadalupe and this spot pays homage to that history. The owners and workers are all local families who have grown up in the region and are dedicated to letting you sample the best they have to offer!
The museum tour is included with your tasting fee. You get a whole lot for 100 pesos. The tasting alone is worth the stop. You get to sample 3 local wines. You get a little tasting plate along with a selection of local fresh bread. They have some of the best artisan cheeses I've ever had. The selection of tapenade, marmalades, dipping oils, and spreads is just fabulous.
This is a great place to pick up locally made gifts to give to friends or just to eat on your own. This is the kind of restaurant you would find in Berkeley next to Chez Panisse.
Also they serve fresh woodfired oven pizza which they can make custom using the artisan cheeses. Yep, mind blown. This would be a great stop mid day to grab an artisanal pizza.
I would highly recommend stopping by this location at least once during your visit. It's better then stopping at a gift shop! read more
