This gym is good when u wanna work out get that old school feel of the place.. the only down side is the owner making up rules every other week.. says open till noon outside only on the weekends but fully closed if it rains not even being considerate and letting us enter.. Great gym for strength training, pretty much any equipment you would want they have. More quantity and variety than many larger commercial gyms. Multiple squat racks etc, so you're not waiting in line. The price is good value especially because there's no extra startup fees or anything. Owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, has helped me with pointers for someone new to lifting. The snacks and drinks are reasonably priced. The downside is the hours are not as open as a commercial gym in the early AM. read more

Alright! People Plz Plz Read my Review my Honest Honest opinion!! I hope this helps you... I don't know where to start but here it goes.... Don't let the pictures! fool! you.. this gym! Was great back in the days... I know Covid-19 changed a lot of stuff... that hurts owners pockets I been going to this gym for 1 year and 7 months.. and I can tell you that the owner is every old school and the gym is not! Up to date! (Meaning) equipment is not the problem. The problem is that the gym needs to be updated the flooring and the 2 bathrooms that it has now... the flooring has!! Pee, stains from his 3 dogs that he leaves inside the gym !! That is a (hazmat!!) problem. The 3 dogs are always tied up. Yes! The 3 dogs bark a lot nonstop but there were trained to let the owner know that there is people nearby or people are coming inside the gym. If you come every single day the dogs will not bark at you because they know you're smell, They are super friendly and not aggressive. Yes he has birds.! When I started going I was paying $100s every 3 months thinking that was a good deal but now that I look at it that's a lot of money in 12 months that's 1,200$. Now!!! That I miss my first payment he is charging me 135$ every 3 months now!! That's crazy in 12 months that's 1,620$ to much Trust!! Me this Gym has potential to be great again and compete with the other gyms that it's around it.. but the owner still thinks that we live in the 80's and 90's Equipment is really good. Yes, there is rust on the dumbbells and some attachments. He leaves some equipment outside... because of Covid-19. Since I been going there I always see the same people go to the gym... there is never new people going because the way the gym looks like and dogs and the smell of pee trust me you can see where the dogs have pee!! Before. super filthy and dirty everywhere that's why people rather look somewhere else ((Pros)) Equipment is really good It's not crowded Max people I have seeing 8 that's about it nothing more ((Cons)) It's to over price $ now Smells like pee everywhere It's out dated and it needs Loved building flooring, and the bathrooms Dog's bark, much and it distracts you Some equipment is too rusted and it's a hazmat for been outside to long This is why I decide to leave this gym and look for another gym I don't want to leave but my safety is more priority Has of now I would recommend this gym 1/ Golds Gym 2/ valley Fitness 3/ Anytime fitness 4/ fitness 19 5/ this gym last Like I said if the owner fixes the problem that people see this gym had potential to be number one again but until then I have to find a new gym I hope this helps read more

This is hands down my favorite NorCal gym. Great equipment (like the high quality old hammer strength machine), great atmosphere (no nonsense get shit done) and David the owner is an awesome guy and a real legend (check out the pictures on the wall showing his history in strength sports and the article at the front desk from the local newspaper detailing the time he stopped an armed robbery of a family across the street from the gym. I Wanted to start a New Year's resolution and called the owner Dave to see about pricing and what kind of equipment he had. He was a great sales person over phone and told me he had free weights, machines resistance training and had been a gym owner and trainer for over 30 years. I totally bought into it which I now regret. It was a flat rate of $99 for 3 months which I threw down the drain. That was the only price and he did private lessons for more $. So I go in there Jan 2nd and I'm greeted by 4 dogs going absolutely ballistic when I knock on the door who are all tied up on leashes on some of the machines. They are barking nonstop and I felt bad for them because they were in questionable condition and the whole gym smelled like feces and urine. So I see this man in a room who starts yelling obscenities at the dogs and not only that, he's holding a pistol in his hands and I see about 7 more all layed out on a little dresser he has next to him. I honestly didn't know what to think. There were about 7 birds/parakeets and literally birdseed and feathers all inside the gym. It literally is a zoo in there. The owner was a character cool for the most part but I think all the abuse of roids over the years has gotten to his brain causing him to be twacked out of his mind. He usually talks to himself and I've seen him yell and tell his paying customers to leave and F off. Half of the time I went there during "business hours" they were closed. The equipment is pretty cool but unfortunately was never cleaned. Half of the gym equipment is outside and super rusty and dirty. You literally have to lay down towels in your vehicle to sit on once you're done working out and immediately shower so you don't catch a rash or staff infection. This gym would be pretty cool if someone actually took the time to clean it and had a new owner who treated his customers with respect. What a shame. I would not recommend this gym at all to anybody unless you want to get yelled at, show up when they are supposed to be open but closed, don't care about dirty equipment, have 4 dogs bark non-stop while you are working out, and have a rude business owner who is mentally unstable yelling obscenities at you. Don't let the pictures on the sight that are posted fool you just like they fooled me. They gym is a pig sty, completely filthy, and nobody cleans up the place... read more

The Muscle House Gym is a great place to train. The owner, Dave, has an extensive knowledge of training and fitness in general, as he is a bodybuilder himself . I have been training with him on and off for almost 20 years. I would say that he is without a a doubt one of the best personal trainers in the area. His training sessions are tailored to your goals and desired level of intensity. The atmosphere in the gym is very welcoming to people of all levels of fitness and training. I wouldn't say it is only a "hardcore" gym. There are members both young and old, some who train more intensive than others. The gym is very clean/ hygienic and all of the equipment is well organized. The Muscle House Gym is a great place for anyone that is looking to train without all the hassles of a big gym like: lack of parking, annoying people, contracts and high rates. The only cons are that it has no pool or sauna. Other than that, I take my hat off to Dave and the Muscle House Gym. read more
