The rates are very reasonable, and the tour is family oriented. You start of on *Tranquility* fishing boat, and stop at educational points to learn about the sea farming and fishing. Captain Perry's crew, Spencer and Cindy, are knowledgeable and share their experiences with us. They readily tell us stories, and answer any questions. Then it's off to see the raft, where seals sun themselves. Then it's fishing for mackeral time!! This is fun and exciting!! Then as the boat heads back to shore, fresh mackeral is cooked on the bbq and served! Nothing tastes better than fresh fish!! The two hour tour zooms by, and evey minute is packed with fun.

While we fish they prepare a lobster, sausage, potatoes and corn on the cob meal. The service is always polite, friendly and courteous. We have nothing but great things to say about Perry and the team and highly recommend the experience. They also provide clam dogging experience on the local beaches. Best to check availability on line as they are always booked. They were featured on television with Rick Mercer and other personalities over the years.

We didn't see any, but that was ok because it was still a great experience. The boat has some cover and it was comfortable. Donelda narrated and told us about what we could expect and some history of the area on our way to the islands. The journey itself was beautiful. A major highlight for us was getting to see bald eagles up close (right next to the boat) as she feeds them on the way. The tour could've been about bald eagles and I would've been happy! We saw lots of different types of birds, bald eagles of different ages, and seals! Lots and lots of seals. We also got to see the puffin breeding grounds and learned about them. That just made us want to come back and do it again in the future. Originally we didn't have enough people to take off (need 10, we had 9). Not everyone had shown up. However, someone asked if we could pay for the extra ticket and we happily split it with them. I suggest bringing cash, the credit machine was down. I was able to pay via PayPal but cash would've been easier I think.

More accurately, we at times felt unsafe, ripped-off and as though we were being pranked due to the numerous situations in which we said, "this cannot be real."   The things within the yurt that were broken or downright laughable were numerous: * There was an overwhelming smell of chicken manure in the yurt itself and compost outside. * None of the interior or exterior doors closed. A gust of wind, wildlife, and other people were free to enter the yurt at any time during our stay at any time. * One of the beds was broken upon arrival (the vast majority of the support bars underneath the mattress were fully on the floor or only attached on one side). When we asked about it, we were told, "you probably won't be charge for it." * None of the beds were the painted Mongolian bed that's pictured on booking sites. * Bins covered in blankets doubled as tables. * One of the exterior doors couldn't be opened as the handle came off in our hands when we attempted to use it. * Neither bathroom lights worked. * The toilet wouldn't flush (1, 2, toilet paper or not, or holding the handle down for a while). After asking assistance and were told, "that's not my job." * We were located in what appears to be a workers site/maintenance area. It felt like we were using a yurt made for employees to stay in perhaps? There was also equipment strewn about the yurt that must have been left there by maintenance. Ex: ladder to get on the roof. Outside, were various cords, pallets, broken down machinery and other equipment. * There was garbage on the floor from previous guests. * There were no chairs outside (as there was at other, smaller yurts) so we sat on the edge of the deck. * There was a large pile of mulch outside our front door, along with garbage and boulders that I can only assume previous guests used to keep the doors from opening.   I'm quite confident that I could go on, but it's getting comical at this point.    Our belief is that your 3.9 rating on Google reflects a number of friends and family making recommendations and that the rating will continue to drop as guests experience what we did.  Highly recommend avoiding this booking.
