I was having a good day until I was met with the most unprofessionally rude person I have ever come across! My sister informed me of how good the boiled peanuts are at Circle K and though I was a bit hesitant at first, once I tried them, I was hooked! I grabbed the big cup like I usually do and was in the process of getting ready to spoon out original flavored peanuts. Note, there was no spoon in that container, so I grabbed the spoon that was in the empty cajun-flavored peanuts. I was immediately met with a rough-voiced woman who literally invaded my space to look at me like I was crazy and tell me that I couldn't use the spoon to get the peanuts (it was her tone that set the stage). I told her I didn't realize that (specifically since I had used one spoon on other occasions when getting the peanuts). She then told me it was common sense due to cross-contamination and that the peanuts I was trying to put in the cup weren't done yet! How was I, the customer, to know that the peanuts weren't yet done? And why did this woman have such an ugly attitude? This entire encounter just ruined my taste for any boiled peanuts from Circle K, and was my last time stepping foot in that store. Is this how customers are treated? Even when I had used one spoon in the past because there was only one there, why be so rude in letting me know that there should always be two spoons available? If this is the case, then WHY weren't there two spoons there??? I suppose this female employee hasn't been in the store on the other occasions when I've stopped by to get peanuts. In any case, perhaps some training on how to deal with customers is in order; or perhaps this saint of a woman is used to speaking to adults/customers in such a way! Either way, she must have been having a particularly bad day. Hope it is worth the customers she drives away... Also, as a side note, I'd be careful of purchasing bottled water there. These were cases sitting outside the store, some even in the sun; not sure how long the plastic bottles of water have been sitting outside in the sun - yikes!

There are a few employees that I really like here. Other than that the parking lot is a nightmare…read moreand a lot of the employees are bad and the upkeep of this store is terrible. The 2 or 3 employees that I like, gives them an extra star.

Doesn't it seem a bit odd that this Circle K flew under the Yelp radar all these years? Well - no…read morematter. It's on the map now. For the Killearn Estates set, this convenience store/gas station hits the spot for all the sorts of things one buys at a convenience store - but in the convenience of the neighborhood setting. I'm not altogether familiar with Killearn Estates, but I believe there is another convenience store / commercial center north of here. If you live in this development, I think these zones are good ideas for folks who want to stay in the neighborhood and not, for example, shed their Mumus and curlers so as to "step out". Sure - this is all for the "glory" of having the first review - but - I did include a few useful tidbits, no? permit a recap: 1. Coffee station? - plentiful. 2. hotdog/burger/hotstuff station? - Check. 3. Clean Bathrooms? - yes. 4. Perrier available? - sure. 5. varied selection of jerkies and other convenience standards? - Natch. 6. Absence of pickled eggs / pigs feet? - Check. 7. Good/Better/Best Octanes at the pumps? - Of course. All in all - a go-to convenience store whilst gassing up - or just even sans gas.
