Gas pump worked fine, the receipt printer worked and there was no trash on the ground. I did not have a need to go into the store today. This Circle K is located on the corner of a busy highway at an intersection with a traffic light. It's easy enough to access and then because of the light, easy to get back and headed southbound. It was supposed to be a rainbow one and I was so excited because that's exactly what my daughter wanted for Christmas. Well, I decided to check it before I wrapped it.... It's not even from the same collection and it's used. It's filthy and the paint is coming off of its face. I used to stop at this store almost daily. I will never shop there again. I understand they are suprise toys, but this was a total bait and switch. I know it's just a toy, but it was a special gift, I am sad and furious. While I understand this more than likely wouldn't have been an authentic one, I also know putting a used toy in a box and selling it as new is wrong and probably illegal. When confronted the business denied selling them ever, calling us liars. Other people saw them for sale as well. This says so much about this business. Lying about a child's toy is cruel and I hope to prevent someone else from falling for their scam. They have several items for sale in this store, I would be skeptical of all of it. This was straight up fraud and they refuse to even acknowledge it. It wasn't a lot of money and I paid with a card so I can file a claim, but it's the principle. Apparently this store has had several issues with fraud over the years and I never knew. There are a few nice gas stations a few miles away or less either way you are heading on 431.
