After 25 years as a loyal customer, I found myself in a position where I had to change providers…read more While the support staff in the office is fantastic and extremely customer focused, the actual agent/business manager is virtually useless. His only interest is in passive renewals and over the 25 years he never reached out to see if I was satisfied or if I would be interested in shopping out the carriers. Even when I asked for updated pricing, he was either non-responsive or seemed annoyed by the request. This resulted in excessive increases, usually too late to address, during the renewal process. I finally had enough and went to AAA, where they seem to care about my business. I took the opportunity to reach out to the owner of Gallant (parent company) and he could not have cared less about losing me as a customer. I received an email back that was arrogant and thoughtless. I highly recommend considering your options carefully before choosing this company.

I have reached out to 8 different insurance companies / insurance brokers and only 2 came close to being able to not only answer ALL my questions (1 insurance company direct and 1 broker agency, Markham Group), they both took their time to hear me out and get me answers if they didn't have it without making me feel like a thorn on their sides. Kathy Clark from Markham Group not only was able to do that but was also able to provide me all my insurance needs from one place with one person at the lowest cost! One stop shopping. I have called agencies that don't do that (even though you go through one company but you deal with different agents for the different products, or that you just assigned an agent by your last name and you are stuck with that person regardless if that person is available at the time you call or not). Very professional!
