I understand how appointments work but I also know that there are exceptions and when someone has had an accident and is in pain you could at least offer to put them on a cancellation list or speak to the doctor. The front desk is the first impression of any business and referrals are the greatest compliment. This receptionist left much to be desired, and because of her you lost a potential life long patient. Dr. Pluhar, I hear great things about your work and I'm sure you would have helped me if you were aware of the situation at hand. However, maybe it's time for a new receptionist who actually acts like she cares about YOUR existing or potential patients when they call to make their appointment.
