When the closing day finally came Attorney Rubin was wonderful about sitting down to read through all the paperwork so that we UNDERSTOOD what we were signing. My boyfriend bought a home elsewhere in CT just a few years back before relocating for a job, and his major complaint with his previous real estate lawyer was that she didn't review paperwork with him and basically just expected him to sign away. When he tried to read, the lawyer accused him of not trusting her! Crazy considering you don't normally meet your closing attorney until the closing.
