Not only is it a terrible example of safety, but it seems hypocritical to ask patients to cover up meanwhile the people who are supposed to be taking care of the patients seem not to care if they get sick themselves, or if they sicken their own patients.

So unprofessional and unnecessary to have a patient that doesn't feel well waiting for that long while you catch up with a buddy. When she finally came in, she said my flu and Covid were negative then did an exam and said "oh wow, your throat is very inflamed, I think you have strep" then walked out and sent the nurse in to swab me for strep throat. I personally don't think the nurse swabbed the back of my throat well enough, and the test came back negative. Was told to gargle salt water and sent home. I just don't feel like I was taken care of well. Really rubbed me wrong having to hear her talk to a friend in her office while I sat there in pain and just wanting to get it over with and go home to bed. I recommend if you're going to make patients wait while you dillydally, maybe talk quieter so we're not aware you're blowing us off lol. Just upsetting and felt like I wasted my time, being sick sucks.

But the communication is absolutely awful. They have a 3rd party out of the country answering service connected to their phone lines. So any advice nurse or communication that needs to be done with doctors is impossible. There is no online portal, only this awful phone line. So if I have a question about medication or anything I have to ask someone and have been given medical advice from someone who is in India and is doing everything they can to avoid transferring my information directly to the office.

Both great and explained everything to me. Meds started and out I went. When I came to I was sitting in recovery with my wife next to me and peanut butter crackers with ginger ale. Feeling a bit groggy but with my full report, results and pictures in front of me. The doctor came in and went over it all and we were off. GREAT job. I called and spoke to a very friendly lady the week before last who told me she had to see if they could take us on as their practice is full. She checked and we were told that they would take our family, but that we have to drive over to the office to pick up the new patient paperwork and that they couldn't email it to us (that should've been our first clue). My wife drove over there today and, because we have a higher deductible plan with United Healthcare (because I am an executive with a large national company and I'm comfortable paying a bit more out of pocket each year, if we happen to end up going to the doctor more than expected). My wife told me that the office manager treated her so rudely and told her that they changed their mind and don't take patients on higher deductible plans. She said the way the lady looked at her and treated her was appalling. Also, my wife told me that they are very antiquated and are operating out of paper files and it's probably for the best that we dodged that bullet.
