Please note they are a tad greasy and again, large. So don't come in for just a snack! The meat on both were the superstars. They also are a full butchery (they even have a subscription box!). So there are meats in the case and marinated options galore. We came for breakfast but left with some chicken and red meat options for dinner this week. It's a tad expensive for both sandwiches and the meats but all in all seem right for the quality. Service was also fast and friendly. Very knowledgeable and ready to help. We got street parking but there's also a small lot it's attached to. There's some counter seating outside you can eat at once you order. Would def recommend!

They prepare 10lbs of premium meat cuts and package it up in the Ox Box. We talked to the gentleman who took our order and we may sign up. Pickup of Ox Boxes is the 3rd Thursday of each month. I wanted to make pizza so I got the spicy Italian & pepperoni sausages for it, and both of them were soooo tasty. Three sausages + the $6 basil pesto totaled a little over $18. Of course $12 for three sausages isn't particularly sustainable for a lot of us, but when it's a special occasion or you're wanting to treat yourself, it's very worth it :) The staff is great, and the place is located in an area a lot of parking and close to balboa. The basil pesto was also really yummy, I added a little lemon to it because I love a little more citrus in mine and it really made all the flavors pop.

Super unprofessional and unfriendly. I had three items upon request and wasn't even asked if I needed anything else. I don't recommend this place at all. Very judgmental, talking under their breath, unprofessional, unfriendly, and rude. However, when 2 white men approached the counter they were greeted immediately didn't have to wait asked them if there's anything else they needed. Simple but couldn't provide that hospitality and service towards me. Im concerned this is targeted towards specific customers.

Walked inside thinking I was just gonna grab a burger, and next thing I know I'm wandering around looking at all the meats, marinades, sauces, chips, drinks, and sandwiches like I was about to host a backyard BBQ for the whole neighborhood. This place is dangerous if you like to cook. I asked the guy behind the counter what I should order because I wasn't trying to make a bad decision. Without hesitation he said, Aged Burger and the Philly.....Say less. We grabbed those and ordered the fries extra crispy because that's the only way fries should be eaten. Man... everything was hella good. The burger was juicy, the Philly hit the spot, and those extra crispy fries disappeared way faster than I want to admit.... They've got plenty of outdoor seating too, so we just kicked back, ate, and enjoyed the vibe. I already know every time I'm in the area I'm coming here because wise ox is greater than shake shack I'm Js!
