I took the VO class years ago. Dru is a good teacher, and a good coach. But beware of some stuff. First of all, the offer to bring in agents (one or two) only applies to her commercial class, not the VO one. She did give us a list of agents who might be willing to take on new talent, but the list she gave us was a few years out of date - those I heard back from were only "moved, left no forwarding address."
And don't be fooled - although she is a good teacher and coach, don't assume once you've done the class you're ready for the career. VO is a life-long learning process, and it can take a decade of hard work before you can make a living at it. (Oh, and it's been suggested to me that when you make your demo, don't have your coach as your producer. I've been advised to take more classes, concentrating on improv and acting presence, as well as more VO classes, then make a new demo with a different producer.) read more
