The atmosphere is cozy traditional. It's down a few steps from the street level and you enter a somewhat dark, candle lit dining area. The tables and seating seem to be an eclectic collection that work well together. My server was prompt and I ordered a "Jever" pilsner beer to start. She brought over an English menu and made some suggestions. I took her suggestion for "Pork medallions with button mushrooms ala creme and fried potatoes". This was three thick slices of pork tenderloin. This and the potatoes were delicious and a very generous portion. I do find that the price is a bit high... we picked up pierogi for two people for Saturday lunch and just the food alone cost over 20 euros. So picking these up are more of a "special occasion" type of meal, but we will definitely be back!

The variety of dumplings are: pork with cabbage; mixed meat with carrots and eggs; mixed meat with paprika and eggs; mixed meat and celery; mixed meat and long asparagus beans; beef with carrots and egg; coriander chicken, sweet corn and green peas; shrimp, pork, beef with cabbage; shrimp pork beef with cilantro; and vegetarian dumplings too! The dumplings can be purchased uncooked or frozen. The owner was quite friendly and helpful. We decided to buy a variety of frozen dumplings of her choosing. They are made fresh every day.
