Secondly, when you start buying in bulk the discounts start adding up and the wine becomes very reasonable indeed. The staff are knowledgable and willing to help and you can borrow glassware from them too. It's a brilliant place to shop for wine.

The shop always seems to be open but whilst trying to ask for this information the shop keeper seemed reluctant to help me so I am not completely sure.

Maybe, you have to have a certain criteria of products to be able to name it so and I wouldn't argue if that was so in this case. The local area can think themselves lucky they now have this shop as it offers everything and stays open quite late. With it also open Christmas day you can get a picture of how hard-working these people are. I reckon there is no other shop in a mile radius so it is in a good location. Some things you might not expect include phone top up cards for calling abroad which you can struggle to find unless you go to shopping centres.

I've been in there three or four times - a couple at Christmas, once or twice before my Dad's birthday - and bought really really good wines there. If you want to talk wine and get good advice, the staff have consistently impressed with their knowledge - these are passionate wine people who love their subject. Equally the notes and organisation of the wines means that you can successfully grab good wine even if, like me, you only half know what you're doing. They have the mainstream fine wines you'd expect with lots of representation from the New World and regional and unusual wines. A great little shop.
