Prior to that every two to three weeks I visited a genius who understood what I was looking for and did impeccable work. Unfortunately, an accident put her out of commission. Then COVID. Then a move across town. I like to change my beard with the seasons. In January through April, I keep it short and usually manage to wrangle it with a trimmer at home. Then, in May I start to grow it short on the sides and a bit longer on the chin. Not at all easy to do. Finally, in fall I go pretty much full Santa, playing his helper with neighborhood kids. I say this all so you get a picture of what this looks like for the hapless barber who messes me up. Well, I need not have worried once I found Stag. I called this morning and the owner, Jess, got me an afternoon appointment with Jordanne. In the meantime, I received a text confirming the appointment and another one about 45 minutes before show time. I met Jordanne at exactly 4:30. She talked about my beard, offered some ideas, asked a lot about preferences, then checked in with me repeatedly along the way. I left relaxed, pleased, and eager to return. On the way out, Jess asked about the service and satisfaction. It was a top notch experience.
