Decided to visit Smart Health Medical and specifically see Dr. Vi and I was so pleased with my first visit I've never gone anywhere else in the last five years! The office accepts walk-ins (from what I remember written on the door, I could be wrong) as well as appointments, and they have great late night and weekend hours a couple times a week. I continue to see Dr. Vi for annual physicals, check-ups and any unknown symptoms even after moving to the Bronx. When I move out of the city someday I'll be sad to leave Dr. Vi behind but while I'm here I cannot recommend her enough. As everyone says, she cares about her patients and takes her time with us. She actively listens and is so well versed in so many different types of treatments and good lifestyle habits. If you don't need pills, she''ll tell you that and offer up better everyday habits that can help you live and feel better. She takes a holistic approach to your health and is in no way a pill-pusher looking to make insurance money off you. Most of my visits result in a clean bill of health after taking vitals, and blood or urine samples on site--if necessary. But when you do need a scan, treatment or prescription she goes above and beyond to make sure you get exactly what you need, when you need it, and makes sure it's covered under your insurance so you're not hit with sticker shock at the pharmacy or referred specialist. The office even faxed my referral paperwork to a specialist when I forgot the paper at home before my appointment. Saved me from having to reschedule or take off work to go home and get it. I could go on and on but there's no need. Dr. Vi has been the best doctor I've ever seen in my 30 years who does more than anyone I've seen to care for her patient's needs.

This was a real visit with a civil surgeon at Weibo Medical Care, and the signed I-693 form clearly shows the doctor's name and exam date. I hope the office improves attention to detail on official forms, since even small mistakes can have serious consequences for immigration applicants. Update: After posting my review, this clinic tried to have it removed by falsely claiming that my husband was never a patient. We have receipts, appointment records, and the completed USCIS Form I-693 proving otherwise. When we first called about their documentation error, the receptionist was rude and dismissive, saying "you want it fixed, you pay for service again" and "it's not our fault, we don't need to fix it." She repeatedly cut us off, put us on hold, and refused to help until we mentioned filing a complaint with the New York Department of Health. Only then did they start responding -- citing irrelevant HIPAA excuses instead of correcting their own mistake. They still refuse to take any accountability or include us in the correspondence they claim to have with USCIS. They even told us my husband's varicella vaccine had "expired," which is medically and legally false, and forced him to pay for a new one even though it was already documented in his record. Their public response is misleading and does not reflect reality. This office lacks professionalism, honesty, and accountability. Red flags -- avoid.
