My visit here was truly one of those experiences I will never forget. This off-the-beaten-path restaurant is in a small fishing village just outside San Sebastian in San Pedro. There's only three tables, there's no menu, and apparently only locals residents know about it. They serve their food family style, and typically whatever the local fisherman caught that day --tomato salad with tuna and sardines, rape' (it's a fish), fried bacalao, pulpo (fried octopus), etc.
I was told they open when they want, close when they want, and you're lucky to get a table even with a reservation. It's worth the effort though, especially if you make a day of it by hopping on the one little boat that takes you across the bay. You'll get a chance to see some epic views of the ocean and mountains. Truly unforgettable! read more
