I had never felt so unwelcome in a shop. My husband was on the front mat. If you dont want people to walk on the rug then move it away from the front door. Simple as that. I had an encounter with an associate at the Georgetown sc store. She was the cashier last name was…read moreSimmons I believe. She was very rude. I was trying to purchase a pair of children shoes and they were on sale. She tried arguing with me and told me they were not on sale. Another associate heard the conversation and informed her they were on sale. Got that resolved.the next day I returned a dress and of course had to stand in her line. Waiting in line I mention to a young lady that was accompany her elderly mom to download the Belk app and it might save her some money with the coupons. Miss Simmons over heard our conversation and said I did not know what I was saying and not to listen to me. The young lady told her that was very uncalled for. Miss Simons constantly made rude remarks towards me for just suggesting the app. I then said I was moving to the makeup counter to check out . miss Simons then hollered hallelujah!! very unprofessional! I went to the other register and the associate called in manager. She was very helpful and apologetic. I hope Miss Simmons gets lots of hugs and loves because she needs it. I got the impression this wasn't her first time being rude to customers.
