Big L is great and had my boys looking handsome as ever. As a single mom, it can get a bit uncomfortable in a barbershop, but our first visit was great. We only waited 10 minutes before being seen, which if you are a parent, you know 10 minutes can feel like 10 hours. Lol. But it was all a smooth transaction from start to finish. Not impressed with the hack job they did on my son. My husband took him. If I had been there I would have demanded they fix it. Instead my husband just said, "You can fix it." Why am I paying someone else if I still end up cutting his hair?! They didn't cut his bangs. Just slicked them back. So as soon as he got out of the chair he pulled his hair forward the way he likes it. The barber is supposed to cut and style how you want it, not just assume they know what you want. My husband showed them a picture of what we wanted, but they didn't do that. The barber should ask how they want it. They totally scratched up my child. I noticed some red cuts when he first got back, then they turned into welts like he might be allergic to what they put on him. My family said it couldn't be from the barber, but then I noticed a cut right along the racing stripe in his hair and my suspicions were confirmed. They didn't just hack his hair, they hacked into my 5yo boy! $30 for them to ruin his hair and cut him up!! I had to fix the hair myself because they closed and I wasn't going to let my son go to his grandfather's funeral like that. read more
