I am so happy to have found Mr. Larry for my son. My little man trusts no one else. It definitely comes from the consistency and honesty. The barbershop has a great vibe and is always clean. Larry is efficient and does have a readily available schedule for his clients. Thank you, always!! read more

I was basically swindled out of $65. We had been there on prior occasions, and been charged $30 for a basic cut, which is what I asked for. However, on this occasion the owner refused to cut my hair without "stepping over to the sink" first for a "quick wash" However, at no time did the owner inform me of the additional $30 charge for this "quick wash". End of story,he charged me $65 for a basic haircut! No shave, no hot towel, no...none of that. Then, after pulling this stunt, in which he said he couldn't cut it without the wash(all the other barbers had left by then), he proceeds to follow me and my father out to the parking lot, where he solicits my dad to get a hair cut as well! What a swindler!!He took advantage of the fact that all the other barbers had left! And he never once said there would be an additional charge for the wash that I never asked for! Beware! You have been warned! I'll never go back or recommend him. Ever. read more

Called to see if they did walk-ins and they said the did and to come on in! I took my 9-month old for his first hair cut and as soon as I walked in Larry greeted us and took us immediately in! I didn't know what to expect because I had never taken a baby to get a hair cut so he explained to me that I needed to sit down with him to calm him and then to help hold his head. I showed him pictures of what I was expecting and my son did great for the most part while Larry worked his magic! I loved the atmosphere and I will be taking my son back again soon! Before and after his haircut!! read more

Terrible haircut. I walked in and was taken pretty fast but i left with a crooked hairline and a bunch of enhancements that did nothing. I definitely would not recommend I have never had a haircut end up like this and he had the nerve to charge $40 for this monstrosity. He pushed my hairline back and still couldn't get it straight. If i could give 0 stars I would. read more

I've been going to DC for a while now, and I can honestly say I won't trust anyone else with my hair. The man is consistent, professional, and knows exactly what he's doing. Every cut is clean, sharp, and tailored to exactly what I ask for. Whether it's a fade, beard lineup, or just cleaning up, DC always delivers. The vibe in the shop is laid-back but focused--good conversation if you want it, or peace and quiet if you don't. He respects your time too--appointments run on schedule and you're never sitting around waiting. If you're looking for a barber who really takes pride in his craft, DC is your guy. Highly recommended. read more

**This review is solely about the barber who served me. It's not about the shop.** I recently went to Moe for the first time, and she did not disappoint. I typically go to another barber, but the shop is closed on Mondays. I was in desperate need of a cut and couldn't wait. Moe has cut my brother's hair before, and I really liked it, so I decided to give her a chance. Moe has a warm, inviting energy, and she's professional. She introduced herself and shook my hand when I met her, which I appreciate. I felt comfortable, and I got exactly what I asked for. She took her time and executed the cut perfectly. My hair is light and fine/thin, and sometimes barbers add enhancements without asking me first. Moe asked if that's what I wanted instead of just doing it, which was also nice. I don't like extra sharp/bold lines, so I was really happy she took the time to consider what I wanted. My cut was great! I'd definitely go back to her. read more

Big L ...you cut my hair 4 years ago and absolutely destroyed my reputation by cutting me bald, I made a review that day and you messaged me to have it deleted. I'm back 4 years later to finish what I started!! You should not have made me bald that day, and I should have never removed my review ! No I'm not taking this one down! read more

I found this shop through Booksy when I moved to the area. Gave it a chance and been here every other week since. They do an excellent job being patient with my son that is hyper active and noise sensitive. Another plus is being open early seven days a week and easy scheduling. read more

Don't get cut by Big L he's the owner he can't cut at all and rushes through all his cuts. He's the worst with customers and always has an attitude every time I see him. When you get your hair cut by him and tell him how you want it he don't listen and does what he wants. This guys so not a people person and hates everyone. read more

My husband's hair looked very nice. We just moved here and the guy from New Orleans did a good job.

Big L is great and had my boys looking handsome as ever. As a single mom, it can get a bit uncomfortable in a barbershop, but our first visit was great. We only waited 10 minutes before being seen, which if you are a parent, you know 10 minutes can feel like 10 hours. Lol. But it was all a smooth transaction from start to finish. My only suggestion Would be to ask the cost up front, as diffrent babrbers charge diffrent prices even if it the same cut. ***We have found our new baber!!! read more

Not impressed with the hack job they did on my son. My husband took him. If I had been there I would have demanded they fix it. Instead my husband just said, "You can fix it." Why am I paying someone else if I still end up cutting his hair?! They didn't cut his bangs. Just slicked them back. So as soon as he got out of the chair he pulled his hair forward the way he likes it. The barber is supposed to cut and style how you want it, not just assume they know what you want. My husband showed them a picture of what we wanted, but they didn't do that. The barber should ask how they want it. They totally scratched up my child. I noticed some red cuts when he first got back, then they turned into welts like he might be allergic to what they put on him. My family said it couldn't be from the barber, but then I noticed a cut right along the racing stripe in his hair and my suspicions were confirmed. They didn't just hack his hair, they hacked into my 5yo boy! $30 for them to ruin his hair and cut him up!! I had to fix the hair myself because they closed and I wasn't going to let my son go to his grandfather's funeral like that. read more

While I did love my haircut I didn't really enjoy hearing one of the barbers be openly homophobic about the LGBT community. Especially since I came in with my same-sex partner. There's no need to marginalize other groups when the shop in itself is also owned by a marginalized group. For all the shit they were talking, I would say I was pretty kind and respectful. Despite what they may think of me or others like me. read more

My husband has been getting his haircut from L for over 20 years. He always makes him look sharp and clean. Lawrence has been apart of a lot of family events like proms wedding etc. Today was another milestone for us as our son of 20 months received his first hair cut. L took him in his arms and showed him that everyone their was getting fresh cut. That helped ease my son as he sat on my husbands lap and received his first cut from L. I don't get my hair done here but my family does. They always come out looking and feeling amazing. read more

Top tier service! Misty is a PHENOM! We were able to walk in and be seen immediately! She did a great job with his cut and style!

Larry really messed up my hair. I showed him a pic and he scalped my sides. Didn't blend it at all. The sides were cut totally unevenly. I went to someone who tried to fix it. And that's when I could really see the right side was cut much higher than the left. All the guy could do was even it out.. Larry did give me my money back to remove my yelp. But. If I have to walk around for 6 months with jacked up hair. He deserves this review.. I really could cry. My hair is jacked thanks to Larry. It was long and beautiful. All I wanted was a Lil fade up. And he jacked me. read more
