We hired him to repair the parapet wall on our roof of a rental property and his team did a great job. It looks amazing and almost brand new. (See before & after pictures) We received three separate quotes and the big thing I learned is that it's extremely important to use lime mortar when repairing an old roof/mortar. If you use something different it can cause water drainage issues and other concerns. I was only able to find two people in Richmond who use lime mortar- Mike and one other company. Both quotes were fairly comparable but I decided to go with Mike based on his many years of experience. I'm extremely thankful I found him and wouldn't hesitate highly recommending him and his team. They also cleaned off the roof of debris that had fallen on it from nearby trees and pointed out some other areas of concern that we may want to address.

I was more than respectful and asked for a small dent repair throughout my home on my trimming. They cost me $5000 for a $800 job! I communicated to the owner Jef immediately the same night the job was complete where I saw issues. They were at my house until 10pm at night for 2 days in a row trying to recover their screw up. Only reason I didn't notice everything right away is they were done so freakin late. Something that should have taken a 3-4 hours took them 2, 10 hour days. As soon as I did a walkthrough the following day I saw how poor of a job this was. They were even unprofessional to pour the old paint water and remains down my sinks and drain! They didn't tape the areas, painted over all trim on to the walls and now I have to get the whole wall painted. Even we're sloppy to paint on my hardwood floors. The owner made false promises to come rectify the issue and always had an excuse. Now that I asked them to fix it now he wants to say well you paid and the contract is final even though I presented the problem within the 2 weeks after service there within the contract to advise them of the issues. I literally showed him that night and the very next day. Super unprofessional company and I will never recommend them to anyone. Sad part is I have at least 50k worth of work that they screwed up from not rectifying a $800 job. These kids need to get it together and I will be sewing this company. They could have either fixed it or refunded my money and those chose not to do either. He even tried to blame the previous painters on their poor job as well yet this trim job had nothing to do with the spot job on the walls. Completely different areas. Very poor service and never use this company. So I've attached the entire conversation throughout the process and pictures of the damages. They re-leveled the driveway, brought in the crush and run and laid it out even and vibrated it into place. No complaints from me, a similar estimate was exactly twice as much as Joe's. I have no idea what the "right cost" should be, I just know when you agree to a price for a particular service, you pay it. I'd hire him again.
