This company came out and gave an estimate, they were given a down payment, he did not show up as promised, we called and he asked to reschedule for one week later, we waiting and again he did not show us as promised and did not call. we called and told him not to bother, and offered to let him keep part of the down payment for his time during the estimate, he told us no, he was keeping the full down payment. Check out their reviews on Angie's list and yelp and you'll see this same situation over and over. read more

Matt came over and gave me a quote for kitchen countertops install, painting, and carpet. 2500.00. I gave him 1/3 against my better judgement. He promised to show up on the 19th of July 2022. He stated he was in the hospital for kidney stones (3 days) and would start on Thursday 21st of July. Then he stated his baby came early and couldn't make it. Hired Matt for basement remodel, 5,830.00 down payment, additional 3,890.00 after one week. The basement needed to be at 50% completion, and it wasn't. I had several texts alerting me of Matt's arrival, but he never showed up. I also had 3 days of "no call, no show". He sent his workers out with nothing to do because he had not supplied the materials. After I fired him, he threatened me with the police accusing me of having materials that belonged to him, materials I paid for. Thankfully, I was able to retain two of his workers after they quit his company for lack of payment for hours worked, and they completed my basement project. I would just like to warn people not to hire this company, Matt is unreliable and does not fulfill his obligations. read more

I had a chimney incomplete by another contractor. He came over two weeks ago and promised to come that week. I gave hime 200 dollars for supplies. He has not shown up. It is two weeks later. Do not hire this contractor. read more

Matt gave me a quote of $9038 for replacement of my roof. Two days later when I signed the proposal, the price had increased by $4000 (for materials.) I gave a deposit of $4436. Within two days I cancelled the job and asked for a refund. Two weeks later I still have no refund and Matt refuses to answer my calls or texts. Be wary of this company. read more

We were charged for walkway cleanings that didn't occur and upon calling, we received no apology and a very reluctant refund. This was not the first time calling GC regarding the issue. It also could take an additional 24+ hours for the walkway to be cleared, since it's a different team than the driveway clearers. We do not recommend them (at least for snow removal services).
