In covering all the aspects of the party I thought about the possibility of weather issues. So I decided a tent would be the solution. I called around for a couple of quotes but after speaking to Justin from Magnif-A-Tent I knew I was heading in the right direction. When the guest list was completed we had 125 guests coming. Not being exactly sure of what size tent we would need, Justin came to my house to measure out the yard to find the best location and to see how big a tent we would need. He laid out a plan for a 30 x 60 tent with an adjoining 20 x 20 tent for a dance floor, and for good measure a 10 x 10 tent for the DJ. Justin and his crew showed up Friday morning and spent 7 hrs setting up these tents along with tables, linens and chairs. Saturday morning it was raining and Justin and another fellow showed up early in the morning to double check that everything was perfect and we would have no problems. The party began and the weather cooperated as best it could. Party was fabulous and went off without a hitch because of Magnif-A-Tent. Do I recommend them. Well if you have to ask then you haven't read this review. If I every need a tent there's only one number I'll call.

They called to let us know what day and time they coming to set up in which they came and set up the day before his party and the tents and chairs were in perfect condition. No problems! The second time was for my baby shower this past Saturday and I was not too pleased with the service! 1. I put in for the rental 3 weeks prior to my baby shower and they never called to give an estimated time window. So I had to call them because I thought they forgot about me. When I called they gave me the estimated time window in which they arrived on time. 2. When my husband, parents and I opened the chairs, half of them turned out to be dirty and rusty. We had to clean them down to the best of our ability. Which took time away from other things we had to do before the time of my baby shower. It was a good thing none of my guests said anything about the chairs but I did call the place and complained about it and they were nice enough to give a refund for the dirty and rusty chairs. 3. I had to call again on Monday to find out when they were picking up the chairs since I was never given an estimated time for that. I was told they would come on that same Monday between 10am and 12 noon for pick up. They did not show up until 1p. Not happy with this kind of service at all! I don't think I will be using them ever again nor will I recommend them to anyone!

With that package, we did decide to do the 18x18 dance floor instead of the 24x24 because it seemed to fit a little better but that was a last minute swap that they accommodated for us! We had a minor hiccup where they forgot something on the day of setup, but they sent someone over right away with it, so it was rectified and we didn't have to worry about it! Astatically, everything looked good, however, the tent had holes which allowed water to infiltrate the festivities. Rainwater fell on the cake, cake table, my main table and chairs, the dance floor, the photo staging areas, on guest heads, along with other areas because of the holes in the tent and the poor gutter technology. The two gutter systems collected water but did not funnel the water away from the inside of the tent. The gutters became filled with water, drooping/hang down within the tent. Finally, they overflowed with water inside the tent, disrupting the event. The staff had to push the water up and forward from the gutters by directing the water away from the inside of the tent. Out of the three commercial heaters rented, one connection was faulty and allowed for propane to leak. So, we were not able to use the one heater because it was unsafe. The LED bar lights were not charged properly, nor were we given the cord(s) to charge them up ourselves, which did not allow us to use the light features. I had the following products within my package listed below. I had 100 guests and about 20 staff members. * Two 10 X 30 CLEAR TOP FRAME TENT - $1,100.00 * One 40 X 60 CLEAR TOP FRAME TENT - $2,900.00 * 240 FEET OF CLEAR SIDEWALLS (FULLY ENCLOSED) - $600.00 * Two 30' GUTTER * LIGHTS: BISTRO PACKAGE (EXTENSION CORD NOT INCLUDED) - $520.00 * 10 TABLES: ROUND: 72" LINENS NOT INCLUDED - $120.00 * One TABLES: BANQUET: 96" LINENS NOT INCLUDED - $15.00 * 100 CHAIRS: GARDEN-WHITE WITH PADDED SEAT (DELIVERED STACKED UP) $300.00 * Three HEATER: 80,000 BTU'S COMMERCIAL (PROPANE NOT INCLUDED) - $375.00 * One BAR: LED - $250.00 * TOTAL: $6,713.03 I am not sure why Long Island Tent & Party Rentals did not test the tent to ensure all holes were fixed so water would not get into the tent. I'm not sure why the connectors were not tested for the heaters. And, I am not sure why the cord was not sent with the LED Bar lights to ensure they were adequately charged. I explained to the company my reasoning for getting the tent was because of the dip or drop in the temperature during the night, and the forecasted rain on the day of the event. Nonetheless, I voiced to the company the issues listed above, and I was compensated for the one heater. I felt unheard when I spoke on the lighting issue with the LED bar, and I felt dismissed and gaslit when I brought up the rain getting into the tent through the holes after I spent a total of $6,713.03. I felt devalued.

I procrastinated and needed several tables and chairs for an outdoor party with only a few days…read morenotice. Atlas was able to accommodate us and provided pickup and delivery.

I MUST be honest , my part was easy , made a phone call , paid for the rentals which was priced reasonable and the tables , chairs , tents , and floor mats were delivered, set up in short notice and the crew were very neat and quick with setup and with pickup the next day . I don't agree with a few pics showing ragged chairs , the tables and chairs were new and solid looking from our experience. Birthday party was fun , my niece was happy , the guest were happy , my cuz was happy and most important, I didn't have to lift a finger as atlas party rentals did it all. 4.5 stars on my yelp meter and would recommend 100 percent .
