I'm reporting it due to seeing children with there families waiting in overcrowded plat forms hazardous conditions. I was Shock and Awe!! By the conditions, its badly in need of maintenance. Just from the pics you can see the foreign alien stuff growing on the floors, ceiling, cracks on the deck, and main platform, a real hazard to commuters. I ride the Subway all the time and I have seen major improvements, unfortunately this station appears to be forgotten. While the MTA has a difficult task at hand in repairing the Subway System, Public Safety should be a priority specially where its a station with high traffic of small children and their Parents, MTA take notice. Never seen so much neglect and rust its worse then a WII Battleship.

The subway is depending on perspective an arduous task OR a fascinating opportunity to test out your directional and navagational skills. The reality is despite all of its downsides it is generally the fastest and cheapest way to roam NYC. Apple maps makes navigating the MTA transit system a breeze (I add this to all station reviews).

The station is served by the M train on weekdays, the R train during the day and the E train at night. The station has four tracks with two side platforms. The center tracks are for express trains that don't stop here and they are LOUD AS HECK when they zoom past. The southbound local platform gets the M train toward Metropolitan Avenue, the R train toward 95th Street and the E train toward World Trade Center. The northbound local platform gets the M and R trains toward 71st Avenue and the E train toward Jamaica Center. The station is tidy enough and well lit though I felt the platforms were rather narrow compared to other stations. I don't like people standing behind me at subway stations and there are only a very few benches here for waiting. Entrances at street level are stairs only. The station opened in 1936 and there is no handicap access here. There is a mezzanine level with ticketing kiosks and fare control, then another set of stairs down to the platform level. I took the Long Island Rail Road into Woodside and the transfer could not have been easier. The bus stop is right there off Roosevelt Ave, basically under the 7 train station and right near a Dunkin, so there's no wandering around trying to figure things out. What really stands out is how straightforward the whole process feels. No weird detours, no unnecessary stops. You get on, it moves. Within just a few stops, the bus jumps straight onto the Brooklyn Queens Expressway and from there it's a direct shot to LaGuardia Airport. I was there in about 20 minutes, maybe even less, which is kind of insane considering it's New York and you're heading to an airport. The fact that it's free just makes it even better. No metro card swipe, no extra cost, just get on and go. For once, everything worked exactly how you'd want it to. It's efficient, easy to find, and actually fast. Hard to say that about most things transit related here, but this one delivers.

It's a free service serving Terminal B and Terminal C, and takes you to the subway station at Roosevelt Ave/74th Street where you can catch multiple subway lines such as the E, F, M, R, 7. I found plenty of signage at Terminal C today telling us where the pickup/drop off area was. Busses run every 6-10 minutes. Bus does get crowded and takes around 20 minutes or so depending on traffic to get to the subway station so standing might be an option.
