My mobile-Ceullar phone tend to have one bar and lacks my signal and not to brag i have vey good phone company provider , and next thing what makes it awkward these stations are located outside not inside the tunnel , any how i usually sometimes use this station when I'm transferring to the slow bus the B8 bus , there few restaurants in the area as well and there beautiful victorian Flatbush houses located in the area , the council members need to protect houses in Flatbush as landmarks !!!!

The station itself lets you take a tunnel to go shopping. Basically this is open air. It serves the B and Q Trains. The tracks both have express and local trains. B runs on the express. This is only on weekdays. Q runs on the local. This is only on weekends. It's in the Ditmas Park area. There's a few decent places in the plaza you can check out. It has a few banks. Right outside the station is the post office. There's a few coffee shops, a Mexican restaurant, and pizza place.

My first time taking the train here and I'm pretty sure it will be my last ;) Heads up for some random reason the 2 train arrives at this location but you can't take it back, u have to get on the 5 train and transfer in Franklin street. If you're going to coney island you can take this stop as well take the F-Train . the opposite direction you can catch the F- Train into Manhattan or Jamaica ,Queens . same for the G- Train you can catch the G-Train in to queens - Long island city section of queens and several stops in Brooklyn as well . I usually come here when I have to ahead in to queens without going to Manhattan or if i'm headed to Williamsburg I'll catch the G- Train as well !!!!

The best thing about it is Prospect Park being just a quick walk. It's just on the other side of Flatbush. This is also one of the better looking stations. It's usually kept pretty clean. There's a few bars and restaurants just a few feet from the station so you can find lots of things to do around here, like having a night out. It has many good reasons for using it. One is because it's close to Prospect Park. The bars and restaurants here are pretty casual to upscale.

As Eugene pointed out in his review, the bathrooms are disgusting. The situation is made worse by some of the homeless people who seem to live under the steps next to the Chase Bank and throw their garbage all over the place. Quite often people smoke in the stairwells and on the platform and in the winter people huddle around the one small heater. But I fear that refurbishing will only be successful if the station is then better patrolled by the transit police. UPDATE NOVEMBER 2018: Refurbished station much nicer but bathrooms still smell and are disgusting!
