A large tent ensures that no matter what the weather conditions, this event will take place. Did I mention free? Yep, completely free to all who attend. The church and school combination has continued to serve the community since the turn of the last century, and although it might sound like the buildings are perhaps outdated, to the contrary, the church is modern and up-to-date, with beautiful stained glass windows and a pipe organ that is one of the larger ones in the region. The school is smaller than many of the local elementary schools, but the students receive some of the best training and education in the State of Michigan. Every testing system ever used to evaluate the student's progress has consistently scored them in the upper echelon of elementary education. Attached to the school is an Early Childhood Center which continues to receive awards year after year. Bravo to the group at Trinity for serving Macomb County and making positive contributions to our local community!!

Makes my heart happy to see people genuinely loving over these children. They completely understand my parenting ways of BLW and have no issue with that. Which is a plus. Pick up and drop off are fast easy and always with a warm welcome or a happy see you later. The app they use is very efficient especially chatting one on one with teachers ! I want to start by saying that the staff comes across as very friendly on first impression…read more However, once you have a question or raise a concern, the tone quickly shifts and responses can feel defensive rather than supportive. Unfortunately, our experience raised several ongoing concerns. There were multiple instances where our child was picked up extremely dirty, with dried mucus left on her face to the point it made us question how closely basic hygiene needs were being monitored throughout the day. Additionally, water cups were not being properly cleaned. On more than one occasion, we opened them at home and were met with a strong, unpleasant odor resembling spoiled milk. Another major disappointment was the lack of support with potty training. Initially, staff seemed encouraging, but once they were informed how frequently our child needed to use the restroom during the training process, the support quickly stopped. We were told they only take children every two hours--which is not how potty training works, especially in the early stages when consistency and responsiveness are critical. Because of this, we ultimately had to pause potty training altogether, which was incredibly frustrating. I also feel it's important to mention concerns regarding staff professionalism. The attire we observed--such as spaghetti strap tops, very tight clothing, and extremely short shorts--did not reflect what I would expect in a childcare setting. When caring for young children, there should be a higher standard of professionalism, both in conduct and presentation. Overall, while the initial friendliness is appreciated, consistency in care, cleanliness, and professionalism is essential--and unfortunately, that was not our experience.

We were initially excited to get our daughter back into a Montessori setting. Upon enrollment the…read moreschool tried to overcharge us on the tuition rate. I'm not sure why they would do that. We saw the amount of the tuition multiple times. They asked us to wait as they printed us a new paper with multiple errors and wrote a higher tuition amount. We almost agreed to it because our daughter is sad at her current school. But we gave the thought some more time and consideration. We spoke to the staff and they said they would adjust their information by end of March/April to reflect the new amount. We gave them a few months to update their info because something felt slightly off. It looks like they selected us to be the family to get overcharged.

Small class sizes and immersive learning styles teach them how to be engaged in what they are doing. We recently were able to sit in on a class for an hour and it's so cute seeing them all get to work on projects that they decide to do and having a snack when they want to. The are very independent while getting valuable lessons. The style in which they teach reading and math has my oldest daughter reading in a much higher level and even doing multiplication and division. They still teach cursive which I believe is a fundamental lesson that is being lost in other places. The children are so much more independent and really show care and compassion towards their fellow classmates.
