Serviced my air conditioner and my swamp cooler, they came when they were scheduled completed the work. Junior had the part on his truck that I needed and replaced it. The water pump I bought at Home Depot last year had to be replaced. I didn't think it was worth a second trip on the roof to save 50 bucks so I can now enjoy my patio during these hot days. read more

I had an AC unit stop working late in the day. They were able to check it the same day, had the repair part in stock, and were able to make the repair before the day ended. They even gave me a discount on the part. Great service! read more

I have my air conditioner unit serviced with MRV every year. Even as COVID restrictions are loosening it's difficult to get companies to schedule house calls as wait lists are very long. MRV was able to accommodate me the next day. They showed up, changed the filters, vacuumed the area, and discussed the health of my AC unit. The technician gave suggestions on how to conserve energy, was very professional and answered most of my questions. They have a great billing system that allows for payment over the phone, at home at the time of service, or paying at the office. Their prices haven't increased too much since last year. Give them a call to schedule maintenance work on your unit in Delano!! read more

So my parents A/C system gave out back in June. So my parents called MRV to check it out. Cost them 75$ to do some diagnostics on it. They determined the Blower was not working correctly and one of the coils were leaking coolant. Luckily, the parts were parts of the warranty so it was covered. However, they said it would take them 2 months to get the parts needed. In the middle of the summer? 100+ degree weather. And they never offered us any type of portable A/C of any kind to accommodate. Fast forward to 1 month later, they have 1 part that came in, had a technician come over and replace the blower. I talk to him...and come to find out they have not even placed the order for the coil that was needed to produce cool air. They continuously told us "yeah it should be on the way" telling us it's the manufacturer's fault. They always tell you they'll call you back with a response but NEVER do. ALSO, the technician that came by to replace the blower was so incompetent that he doesn't know the difference between the inside coil and outside coil. He misdiagnosed the problem which blows my mind how incompetent their workers are. Anyways, they send a tech over to look at the A/C unit. And this other tech notices that the leak may be able to be welded....so they go and weld it and it works properly now. But what the hell, if this was able to be done in the first place, WHY WASNT IT DONE? You let my parents burn in the hot sun for MONTHS when it could've been fixed from the get go. I seriously question this company's integrity and knowledge in the HVAC industry. I wouldn't do business with this company. They charged us the full amount, didn't apologize whatsoever for the inconvenience. Just horrible customer service. read more

I wanted to call a local company and this came up. I made an appointment, they called to reshedule the next day. I waited 1 hour for them to do a quote and no one ever came. I even called and left messages. I called the next day and got forwarded to voicemail with no return calls. I eventually went with a company from Bakersfield. read more

Not going to make this long; they came out to my house for a quote on a NEW system, that was two weeks ago. Called last week to follow up, they said they would call me back. Still no call back, must not want/need my business. read more

On 6/25/2019 MRV installed a new a/c unit at my home and my family though we would be enjoying a home with an a/c again. MRV did not test the a/c properly when they were at our home, so they did not notice that it was blowing hot air. After MRV left, I was wondering why hot air was coming out from the vent. I played with the thermostat to see if it would change. Continuing to observe the a/c unit, it would not cool. The following day 6/26/2019 I gave the a/c unit another try and it was still blowing hot air. At about 4pm I went to MRV in person to go tell them the new system was not working as it should be. Upon arriving the lady was kind and friendly, but the next person seemed somewhat not interested. Even though, he looked like he was not interested he still did his job. He got someone to check out our a/c unit the same day. At about 5:30pm a technician arrived to find out what the problem was. The technician (Daniel) was friendly and was able to find what the problem was. After he did some work with the a/c unit outside, it started blowing cold air like it was supposed to. After he was finished on the roof, he came inside to look at the thermostat and see if it was working fine. It turns out the people who installed the a/c unit on the first day missed something with the unit, therefore, resulting in the unit blowing hot air. After the technician (Daniel) fixed the problem, the a/c unit worked just fine. A+ to Daniel! read more

I called for MRV AC and they came out and charged a 75$ diagnostic fee in which was higher than most. That was the first clue that I learned that wasnt a good thing. The young tech came and gave the diagnosis and I already knew that it was the AC compacitor that was bad, but he said that I also needed the fan motor changed also inwhich woul be 580$ on top of the 75$ diagnosis fee. I asked why if the tech that came last year only replaced my compacitor and didnt say anything about my fan motor then. His eyes then got big and said this is something our company is doing new, where we have to replace both the capacitor and fan motor. I told him thats funny because the fan motors usually run from 10-15years long. So I told him never mind and that I get a 10% discount for being a veteran off the 75$ in which would be 67.50$ but he couldnt do the math so he said just give me 70$. I ended calling another tech from another place and he laughed when I told him about that. He said they only need to replace the fan motor when its bad and in your case it doesnt need to be replaced. I also found out why my compacitor went out was when MRV replaced it, it turned out it wasnt the right size and instead of replacing it with the right size they added on to the compacitor so that it was going to go out again. In all I only had to pay 120$ and not the 580$ and I still lost 70$ from the diagnostic. This was very sketchy and just flat out wrong. I say dont trust this place unless you dont mind paying high prices and may have to pay again in a year or so. read more
