Overall, it's pretty darn close in terms of products and prices of that big blue place that starts with "L." But what I think sets them apart is customer service. The employees are always more than willing to assist while knowing where everything is as if it's the back of their hand. Walking in the place is stunningly clean, as if no soul has ever dared soil the floors or leave one product out of place. I did see a person cleaning the floor and another restocking shelves when I dropped by after an early church service but they weren't in the way at all. Overall, HD has a pretty efficient business going on. As for what to buy, I was after a light bulb changer extender and couldn't find it. I asked for help and it was one isle over! Doh! Oh and I checked online before dropping by so their PoS (point of sale) system is very accurate between the web and store. After retrieving my bounty, I wondered around. I had to stop by the Tregaer grill...... oh buddy if I already didn't have a Webber and a smoke box, I'm not sure I would have left with only one product in hand.
