Called and scheduled an appointment to have a tire patched for the following day. The appointment was scheduled for 10:30am. When I showed up, a few minutes prior to appointment, I was told they had a few appointments ahead of me and it would be a few hours. What's the purpose of an appointment if you have to wait a few hours before they can even get to it? read more

I made two valiant attempts to get an alignment on my partner's vehicle. Attempt #1: the alignment machine broke down before the vehicle went up. I should have taken that as a bad omen, but I gave y'all the benefit of the doubt. Attempt #2: made a morning appointment for drop-off. Went back to pick it up later that day, and looked like the vehicle hadn't moved. Well, that's because it hadn't. Due to a "mix-up," the vehicle wasn't serviced. All damn day, and no one had one single thought as to whose responsibility that might be. The suggested resolution was to leave the vehicle there overnight, with the people who forgot to service my car in the first place, with all the faith and hope in the world that they'll somehow remember to service the vehicle the next day. Um, no. That actually felt pretty shady, honestly. Between all of these attempts, we wasted 4 hours in driving time going back and forth to the garage for absolutely no reason other than to piss me off. That's what you get with these corporate outfits, and that's what I get for not doing my research on this company. They don't give a shit about you as a customer, and they certainly don't value your business. They treat their employees like shit, which leads to poor service and high turnover. All that matters is making money for the dear, almighty shareholders. They have to invent new ways to overcharge and overprice in order to do it. It's literally the business model. They don't need a loyal customer base, just desperate people who need their vehicles fixed. People are always desperate and in need of vehicle repair. It's kinda like the healthcare "industry." And watch, corporate will respond with some bullshit boiler plate response, "We are so sorry we didn't provide satisfactory service. Please waste more of your time talking to us about it on the phone so we can do absolutely nothing to fix it." It goes something like that I'm sure. (Update, you can see they responded with exactly that)(Y'all can get fucked) The evils of capitalism are on full display here. Save yourself the time and money, and stay the hell away from this place. read more

I have been going to mr tire for approximately 1520 years. After today I will not go back. I was charged an installation and balance fee that amounted to almost $80. I have never had this type of charge before. This is not typical in all of the tires I have purchased from competitors across the eastern seaboard. No where was this posted in the showroom showing the additional charge and was not presented to me until after the work was completed. I will say the work was completed in a timely manner, not sure the correct psi was put in the tires because the the tire warning light came on read more

i took my car there TWICE and both times, lady at the desk said they didn't have a mechanic working that day!! how can you run a tire shop without any workers!! they should be closed on days like that. pathetic. got my tire plugged and the next morning it needed more air. took it there again @8am and i got it back at 7pm!! never going here again and i will tell everyone i meet to steer clear of this stupid place. read more

Huge thank you to Dick for helping me get back on the road quickly yesterday after getting a flat tire on the highway. Gave him a call to tell him what happened and he got me a quote and had the tire ready to go when I got there. He made the bump in my day that much easier! read more

The absolute worst. NEVER take your car there for any type of inspection!!! They handed us a bill for $2500 , stating that we had bad rear brakes, a shoddy rack and pinion, and a new dust cover for the rear brakes. They proceeded to slap a fail sticker on our car. Fast forward less than two months later, we had everything professionally taken care of for around $300!!! And that includes two brand new tires!! It was a small leak in the power steering, that was a little over $100 to fix. They failed two other people just while my husband was there. Younger people, who were literally in tears! They give huge bills for problems that aren't properly diagnosed or even exist. The new management is the pits! I strongly recommend people to avoid this place. read more

Purchase four new tires and got back on the road. Once on the interstate, anything above 60 mph caused serious vibration. Called them back and Dusty stated, bring it back and we'll balance the tires. First off, they should have balanced the new tires when installing them. Returned the next morning, tires re-balanced and nice to travel at posted speed limits. Would not recommend and advised co-workers not to take their vehicles there. read more

Fast and courteous service! I brought my car in for a state inspection and they were able to fit me in and get it taken care of quickly. I will definitely be back for any future car maintenance or repairs. read more

Had 8:30 am appointment. No notification until I got there there were no technicians. As I waited another customer came in I I heard the lady say they would not be there until 9 am or later. She didn't even tell me or another customer waiting it would be that long. Then when asked, the lady was condescending and rude. Said I could just go somewhere else. Wonder if the owner of this business would have treated the customers the same? Made the appointment the day before and they had my phone number and could have called, told me when I walked in and been apologetic about it, since their guy called in sick. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. If you notice all of the poor reviews are within the past few weeks and months. I used to get good service with a smile until today. They have really went down hill with service and attitude. read more

This shop is absolutely awful. First, their work: I had my headlamps replaced. When I got my car back, i knew the bolts were missing to hold my bumper on. They didn't replace them... fine... but they also didn't even mention that they were missing. They also put 1 out of the 3 bolts needed in to hold my headlights in place. Several days later, my battery died and wouldn't come back on. I tried jumping it and luckily, the person helping realized sparks were flying everywhere. I ended up having to have my car towed to another shop and paying them $300 to undo and redo the work from Mr. Tire as they misplaced a ground wire, which could have caused my car to catch fire. Thank God it didn't. Their resolution: when I told them what happened, they (without apology or any acknowledgment of the issue) did offer a refund. I waited and waited and called and called. I was told several times that they just hadn't heard back from corporate. Finally, I decided to call corporate myself. A very mouthy woman answered and spouted off my complaint and said "well you haven't provided proof of taking it to another shop". I explained I had taken that to the shop on the first day of my complaint. The store manager hadn't sent the documentation, nor had anyone told me they needed additional documents for over a month. No contact was made or attempted whatsoever. The store manager was not in that day and the assistant manager was very rude when I asked why it wasn't sent and if he could try to find this documentation. He said I just had to come back the next day. I still have not received a refund over a month and a half after the initial date and it's looking like my next steps will have to be to file with the BBB or to file a lawsuit. It is NOT worth the risk to get work done here. They do lazy work and then give you hell if you try to get a refund. They will jump through every hoop to avoid giving you a refund for the job they did that caused more harm to your vehicle and cost you twice as much to get fixed. read more

One evening, I was passing thru Teays Valley on my way back from a funeral and started experiencing tire problems. Turned out there was a bulge in the rear passenger tire that was causing the low pressure light to come on. Unfortunately, due to COVID, there were no repair shops open. Erring on the side of caution, I stayed overnight and made an appointment at Mr. Tire for 830 the next morning. When I got to the shop, the attendant advised me that my slot needed to be rescheduled due to a conflict, but when I explained my situation, he allowed me to keep the early appointment and got me back on the road within the hour. The cost was very reasonable and I've not experienced any issues thus far. read more
