I have worked with Anita for more years than I can count.....with non-profits where she is not making as much as with walk-in customers. Her expertise has been invaluable. She took the chopped-up version of a poster I designed in Publisher, tweaked it, and made it beautiful. She made draft copies until it was perfect. After that, she emailed to me serval different sizes for postcards and 8x10 posters for shops that didn't want big posters in their window and was always cheerful and happy to help. I think Carlile P. should try again. I came to her page today to order something else. I'm sure it will turn out perfectly!!

Hearnes Jewelry is truly a blessing. They offer fair pricing, excellent workmanship on repairs, and…read moremost of all, such attentive and genuinely caring service. While waiting for a repair, I happened to see the most beautiful necklace, a delicate diamond cross with a small diamond cluster beside it. I instantly felt drawn to it. It reminded me of the Trinity: the cross representing the Son, the cluster as the Holy Spirit, and the "love" necklace I was already wearing symbolizing the Father's love. It felt like the perfect way to carry a reminder of God's presence, three in one, close to my heart. The necklace was just a little more than the birthday money I had, and I wasn't sure it would work out. But when I shared how meaningful it was to me, Jay was so loving and kind. I could tell he genuinely wanted to make me happy. He offered it to me for exactly the amount I had received for my birthday, and I was so touched by his warmth and generosity. I also asked if they would combine my "love" necklace with the cross and cluster into one piece, and Audrey did so with such grace, without charging anything extra. That simple act of care meant the world to me. It's rare to find a business with not only excellence in their craft, but also a true sense of community and compassion. The final piece is more than jewelry; it's a reflection of my faith and a daily reminder of God's love. I'm so thankful the Lord led me to Hearnes. I can't recommend them enough to anyone who values beauty, meaning, and people who truly care. Thank you!

Pete then did the final calibration (auto-pilot and radar). First, I am extremely pleased with the new system - the Raymarine Axiom displays are awesome. I've had a look at the wiring installation, it is absolutely professional. I brought the boat to Oriental for the installation - good move as their offices were just around the corner and it made getting the odd connection easy for them (saving time, too). Due to a few complications, I had to leave Oriental before the calibration was done, but Pete was good about coming to Bath, NC and helping me with the cal. That took longer than expected since Pete had to figure out a place to mount the autopilot compass so it wasn't affected by boat iron. He got it done and the system is working perfectly.
