Jermaine came out right away and took measurements and got details of what I wanted. He later gave me a call with a very reasonable quote and I confirmed that I was happy with the quote and wanted to move forward. I advised Jermaine that I needed an official diagram of the work that would be done so I could have it approved by my condo board. After signing an agreement that I am going to be working with them, I had a beautiful, detailed diagram to present to my condo board for approval. Once I had the approval, we signed our official contract and went over the payment schedule and Jermaine and his crew completed everything from start to finish in 5 days. I was extremely satisfied with the whole experience. My fence is beautiful. Jermaine is very hard working and professional, friendly and polite. Shana handled all communication and emails and inquiries I had during the whole process and her customer service was amazing as well. I highly recommend this company to anyone in durham. They are outstanding. I've already requested them for my next job of redoing my patio and laying fresh sod and I am excited for the end results, because I know Jermaine will do an amazing job. Need A Hand was there for us when we needed to replace our ancient wooden fence with something more…read moresturdy. With 2 large dogs, we cannot let them get out of our yard, and we had held our collapsing fence together with several beams of wood and large pots filled with rocks. I contacted 6 companies. Need A Hand was the first to respond. Jermayne, the owner, showed up soon after to measure the fence, ask us our preferences, and gave us a quote on the spot! Eventually, we had a few other quotes, and Need A Hand was the most cost-effective of all, and they had several suggestions for strengthening the fence so that it was not as susceptible to winds (we live in a wind tunnel!). Jermayne and his crew were pleasant, responsive to suggestions, and built a very beautiful fence in timely fashion. They left the yard in pristine condition, and even managed to preserve some of my plants, including heirloom roses. Those have nasty thorns, but they willingly worked around that. The results were great. For a professional job, pleasant and reasonable workers who will listen to you, and offer you a reasonable price, Lend A Hand may be the place for you to go if you need home repairs.
